René is at the end of his path

Please pray for René, who has been my spiritual counselor for the last seven years.
 
He's been in poor health since I first met him, but every encounter was a joy for me and I believe for him too, last time I saw him about a month ago bode not well but I didn't know that could be the last occasion.
 
A common acquaintance last night told me he won't have long to suffer and it pains me immensely to see him go.
 
Our common Catholic faith doesn't seem to be enough right now, please pray for him, may the Lord welcome him in His loving arms and may we one day be reunited.
