Thank you all for your prayers for Jean. She is (hopefully) enjoying another break from home this week engaging in her first love - doing environmental jobs in the countryside with other enthusiasts.
 
Seeing her on the video of her son as a baby today, was quite sad really, because she looked so much happier and pretty then.

I think it was meant fo me to find this thread tonight I too can relate to Jean and her fiery spirit and loss of intensity due my  own unfulfilling marriage I can say that she may like me just need some down time to recoup the feelings she invested in another....she is your child and I can tell by knowing you as I do here that you are a connccted spirit light being who sees the relative love in life and the reflection of the God energy She will rekindle her sense of that and love life again mid life is part of the challenge for us to connect with the importance of quality of life versus quantity Jean is blessed by you and she will bless you in turn Alleluia ! I have to say that, when I read of your own struggles, they reminded me straight away of Jean. She does have such a strong spirit and is a very passionate girl about lots of things. I look forward to seeing that again in her.
 
She has always been there for me during my own mid-life struggles, and I did say to her that that is what this is for her now. She is being challenged to live the life she was meant to. She has devoted 14 years of her life to her son, who has mild Aspergers, and now she has to look forward and outwards. I told her that, if she decides to leave the marriage she will not be leaving her son, and needn't feel guilty. Her husband is a good man - just bad for her.

Tonight I had a long phone conversation with Jean who has just got home from her working holiday doing conservation work, which she loves.
She sounded so much more positive and told me all about her holiday. She was with a lovely friendly bunch of people and had a great time cutting down trees !! and scrabbling about in the mud. Not my cup of tea.
It was lovely to hear her talking in a better frame of mind. She is already planning the next holiday.
