Please join me in prayer for my great-niece, Katie who I have just heard has been missing from home for 4 months. She has a 4 year old child and is married. There is no thought by the family that anything bad has happened to her, but naturally everyone, especially her mother, are very worried. Jude

Jude, I will keep Katie in my prayers. I can imagine the worry that this has caused her family. Is her husband and child gone too? I pray that she will contact her family and that she is safe. Vicky

Dear Vicky, thank you for your prayers. No, Katie's husband and child are not with her. We don't know what happened, whether they fell out or what. To have left her child it must have been something drastic. She did leave home at 16 to be with this man who bacame her husband. At the time he was a drug addict and she felt she was rescuing him. (well-known story; some of us have to be careful not to fall into that trap) This is why they are not thinking that something has happened to her, as she was missing then for a while. Even more worrying at 16 of course. Bless her, I do hope she is OK. Love Jude

Jude I pray the Katie is happy, healthy and safe and that she contacts her family soon. She must have a very good reason for being away, but I am sure her child misses Mommy. I will keep Katie in my prayers. Please keep us posted. Vicky

Some news of Katie at last. She has been back home, but it seems she is still living in an unknown place. We don't know what the probelm is, but she is looking for another house to live in with her child. I can't imagine how my Sister copes with a daughter who won't talk to her about her own daughter, Katie. I share most things with my daughter and I'm very grateful for it. Thank you all for your prayers for Katie. Jude

Dear Jude, I am glad that Katie has at least been home and apparently unharmed. There seems to be a generational relationship problelm which, I am sure, is very painful for your sister. You are fortunate to have good communication with your own daughter. This is unfortunately not always true between mothers and daughters. I will keep Katie and her family in my prayers, Much love, Edda

Hi Jude I am glad that Katie has made contact. Praying that she will be able to confide in someone who can help her to deal with whatever the issue may be. It must be so difficult for your sister. A prayer of love, respect and support for parents and children everywhere. Amen Glenys x

Jude, I am so glad to see that Katie is fine. I do hope that she communicates better in the future with her family. It must have been a very hard time for them not knowing where she was or if something terrible happened to her. Our prayers were answered and she is safe. Vicky

Thank you Vicky, Yes it is a relief. I haven't heard anything more since. As a Mother it's hard for me to imagine how she was able to leave her child, and thinking of myself at 4 or 5 I can't imagine how I would have coped without my mother, so the sooner it's all settled the better for all concerned. I have recently heard from my other sister that Katie's Grandmother (my eldest sister) is upset that Katie won't let anyone see her child. I don't know any details, but drug taking has been involved in the past... It is all very upsetting for my sister, and of course for Katie's mother. Prayers would be appreciated. Love, Jude
