Hep C Destroying My Liver

In Jesus Name: I have just passed the 9th month mark
of my one year liver treatment; Praise God the
Hepatitis C was "undetectable" @ month 3 & 6....will
test for month 9 shortly. As you may know I must take
daily meds & a weekly shot of Pegasys; because I am
prone to anemia on these meds I also take 2 seperate
weekly shots of Procrit & 1 shot of B-12. On my last
blood work I was 2 small points on the anemia line,
but believing that on the next test there will be NO
ANEMIA & MY HEP C WILL ONCE AGAIN BE "UNDETECTABLE". I
am feeling like a "pin-cushion" again & have injected
so many times in my legs that the skin has turned
reddish & scaly.
I badly need your intercession as I enter
2007 in a better state of health than @ the start of
2006. As an extra added bonus in some, their HIV
levels go/stay @ undetectable due to the liver
meds---PRAISE THE LORD, that's my case too.
So to sum up my HIV & Hep C remains undetectable; I am
free of the meds serious side-effects & believing that
I will have anemia obliterated from my body on this
month's tests.

Just came across your entry. I too was recently diagnosed with hep C on 12/1/06. My son passed away from it last 12/11/05. He was too far gone when they found it, he was already in liver failure. They did 2 transplants on him, 4 surgeries in 4 days and he passed on the 5th from sepsis. He was 33. I pray that the same fate does not await me. I get more results the 17th of this month, genotype etc, viral load all that. Prayers for you for a healthier year, stay strong. Pray for me too. God Bless.

Welcome, Brother Rick! I am sure you must be feeling like a pincushion, but it is worth it if it helps to get your infection under control. People were infected with Hepatitis C before we knew what it was, and there are those who carry it without being aware of it.
I pray that your lab results turn out well.

I have had a set back; after great/undetectable Hepatitis C viral loads @ months 3, 6 & 9 and finishing one yr. of treatment, my Hep load has now gone back to detectable. 4 million copies to be exact. This is a set back because I can't do any major tests like a biopsy, etc. because it takes 2-3 mos. for all the liver meds from my weekly injections and daily oral meds to clear my body.
 
PRAY THAT JESUS WILL CLEAR MY SYSTEM OF ANY TOXINS, HEAL MY LIVER & REVERSE HEP C & GIVE ME GOOD TEST RESULTS WHEN I AM ABLE TO TEST.
 
P.S.-Please do not consider my setback if anyone on here is considering the weekly pegasys & ribavirin treatment-& i am available by IM to discuss treatment.

Thanks as best I can decipher one has to light a candle+++ and then along the process enter rick in group. Coincidentally  a minister sent me a letter that he was lighting a candle for me on a mountain (don't think ya have to go that far up for God to hear us...but thanks for the e-candle).

Dear Rick, I find out my viral load today, doc is sure he's discontinuing treatment. Very scary and nerve wracking. I prayed I was on my way to being healthy once again.
