Dear Claire, I am so sorry about this setback! I know you are doing everything you can to help your mother. Medical care can be very frustrating as I know from my experience with my husband.

Dear Claire, I am sorry that the lack of proper monitoring caused both you and your Mom such a setback when she seemed to be doing much better. Know that prayers will continue for both of you. May she just as quickly take a turn for the better.

Thank you all for your continued prayers.  I contacted the Ombudsman for Dept. of Aging and they are monitoring my mother better.  She seems like she is in a coma but ER said it was just that she is weak.  She can respond to some questions but may need a feeding tube in her stomach.  She is somewhat stronger but still needs many prayers and strength to continue to fight.  She is a strong person and I am depending  on that and the grace of Jesus Christ.

Thank you, Hildegard for your encouraging and loving words and continued prayers.  My brother is very upset and also needs strength and faith to help him through this time.

I have seen many answers to prayer and am trying to focus on learning about prayer.  I love some of the hymns more than straight theology because you can see the heart of faith in many of the hymns by ordinary people.
