Please pray for my mother

She is in a great deal of pain. Please pray that the doctors will treat her well and with concern and professionalism and for my family.

Thank you so much for your prayers and expression of good wishes.

My mom is doing much better, she was given pain medication but I am having problems getting her to take her other meds but she is definitely better.

Thank you again for your thoughtfulness.

You are most welcome, Claire! I am glad that your mother is feeling better. Yes, it takes all sorts of powers of persuasion to get someone to take medications, I know! Be gentle but firm!

Thank all of you so much for your heart-felt prayers.  My mother is doing better but now we need to try to get her to eat and drink liquids. She is in intermediate care in the hospital and her breathing has improved but there are still some problems so would appreciate your continued prayers.

I will keep your mother in my prayers hoping she will make steadty progress. I hope the food at her hospital is better than in most. My husband's appetite was verry poor while he was in the hospital since everything seemed tasteless. Are you allowed to bring in some favorite foods?

It is the opposite problem, she says the food is too spicy and it is!  The hospital must be aware of the reputation for bland food but in this case it might be a good thing.  She is eating better and may come home soon. I brought her some food from the cafeteria.

My mother is doing much better.  She is eating a little now and is in Rehab.  Thank you for your prayers and good wishes.

And my gratitude and love to the Lord Jesus for loving us and healing us, for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and protection and love of the Holy Angels.

My mother was doing well but the nursing home/rehab center did not help and she did not get the medical monitoring she needed.

I called the paramedics who took her from the nursing home and ER started her on steroids and antibiotics.  She has a spot of pnemonia and is too ill now to talk, she is disoriented and needs prayers.  She is in a lot of pain and unable to eat.  Very distressing.  Spending hours with her just holding her hand and trying to speak encouraging words.

I hope they keep her long enough in the hospital this time to really stabilize her.  Please pray.  She needs all the prayers and good wishes from the spiritual and kind people on this board.
