A Wonderful Site About the Psalms - 6/11/2008 3:19 AM ( #1 )
An extensive site with lovely cartoon drawings with prayers based on the Psalms and his story of dealing with the adoption of 5 children from one family in South America and then battling cancer.  Very inspirational, humourous and devout.

Paul survived cancer to watch and work with the growing up of his 5 adopted children.  Inspirational and realistic in the difficulties and joys.

Those are words I never expected to hear myself say.

Back in the summer of 1992 my wife Dani and I had traveled to South America to adopt five children. All at once. The oldest was 8, the youngest was 2. Life got crazy, to say the least!

I woke up early the second-to-last Saturday this February, 1999, shivering. Five days later I was in the hospital with pneumonia.

A week after that I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a sort of bone marrow cancer.

Life just got crazier.

Thank you for these links, Claire! I read some of the stories. These notes seem very genuine and are touching. I hope to get around to looking at more of this.

Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Claire, what a very special gift! The prayer for help from Psalm 86 made a special prayer time to transpose the me into him and use it for my brother. I look forward to taking the time to read them all. The Garfield one is really cute. Blessings on your weekend.
