Thank you Moise - 6/25/2008 12:31 PM ( #1 )
A cry in the calm of the busy afternoon at the office: Alain is coming!

Five minutes later the tall lean figure of Alain, accompanied by the tall (one meter, that's a lot for a four-year-old boy) dark figure of Moise appear in the corridor.

A red football (soccer for our North American friends) ball was ready for him, what a breath of fresh air it was!

Shy at first, then more and more confident, I think there are a lot of people who give thanks for this extraordinary first encounter.

He'll be back in two days, I'm sure something else will be waiting for him, I'm thinking about "tokolat", his way of claiming for chocolate, chocolat in French...

Thank you Moise for being there, and thank you Alain for giving your son a chance.

Chiara

Dear Chiara,

I am delighted to hear that Moise is now united with his father and that you had a chance to meet him. I am grateful with you for seeing human goodness and kindness made visible in Alain and Moise!
Enjoy spoiling him, at least for a while!

Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

A small update on the miracle who are Moise and Alain.

Small feet running in the corridor: they are there!

Alain comes in my office, Salut!

Moise comes in, a little shy, "fais une bise à Chiara", give a kiss to Chiara.

I bend down, don't need to go very low, the boy is tall, he executes.

I am happy.

Today he has a small pocket light, apparently Alain has had to change three times the battery in the last 24 hours...

Alain takes me to one side "merci, Chiara."

????????????????

Your email.

I sent him an email telling him of the emotions which come without shame every time there is a new log on the blog with which I humbly try to help him.

Sometimes two words are worth more than a thousand.

Chiara

Dear Chiara,

I am happy with you and for you! I can hear from your post just how delighted you are and how much you enjoy Moise! A child can really brighten a room and bring light to those in it!

Much love to you, and a hug for Moise,
Edda
Peace and joy!
