Thank You

Thank for giving me the opportunity to light a candle for my son Jeremy who passed away on March 20, 2008.  He was 17 years young, and looking forward to go fishing this summer with our neighbor.  Jerry died of Pancreatic cancer.  No he did not do alcohol or drugs.  The doctors were baffled by the diagnosis and they could not do anything to save  him.  It was already too late by the time he started to show any symptoms of the cancer.
 
Yes I am childless now, and life has become extremely meaningless to me right now.  No goals, no dreams, no aspirations.  I'm just waiting to see, since I can't seem to be able to do anything else.  Once again thanks for giving me a chance to light a candle for him.  He would have loved it, because Jerry hated the dark.

I am so sorry you have lost your only child. There are several people who visit the Forum who have lost children, so do please keep dropping in to talk to us.
I will light a candle in the 'All' group for you and Jeremy. Let us know if you have already started a candle group.

Welcome to the forum, Gen! I am so very sorry for your loss, your only child! My heart goes out to you!
As Jude says, there are other mothers in these forums who have lost a child. They, better than others, can understand the way you feel. Please, allow us to support you as you are grieving. Feel free to share with us your thoughts and feelings if you wish. There is always someone here to listen to you.

I, too, will light a candle for you and Jeremy in the ALL group. (I am sorry I marked the candle 4Jen instead of 4Gen!)
