I am so happy that little Gloria has returned home.

Just got an update that Gloria is home (has been since the end of December) and is making progress. She continues to attend physical, occupational and speech therapies and will be enrolling in a special school program in the next couple of weeks.
Please continue to pray for Gloria.

I had been wondering about Gloria
and actually lit a candle for her yesterday.
You must have heard my thoughts!
I am so happy to hear that she is coming along well,
and getting ready to attend classes.
This will surely boost her spirits as well.

sitting here, reading posts, something i never do and read the story of little gloria and halfshadow, my sweater was wet, looking down i could not understand where the water came from when i touched my face and could feel tears, coursing down my face. i have been so touched by this small warriors fight to survive. i haven't cried in fifty years. truely, fifty years. if i could, i would give her some of the life i have left. such spirit, such hope, may all the lights in the universe shine for this small one. i am humbled. i stand before true courage, and the outstanding understanding and support provided by this wonderful place and the people who are here. love to you gloria. you have fought the good fight.
