Eric Garcia Delaplane. I miss you.

Eric took his own life today at around 4.30 am.
It's been 7 months I am longing you.

He was a truly beautiful soul.
I love him and cherish, as a sister, the times we spent together, laughed together and loved life together.
I am wishing he is at peace, at home and carefully watching for us.
We miss you. I love you, and always will.
Watch for Mom, Dad, Ernesto and me.
I have no words to describe the pain and bitterness I am feeling.
 
Please pray for him he's finally at peace.

Dearest Ange, welcome back! My heart goes out to you as you feel your grief as fresh as ever! You miss your brother terribly and experience a mixture of feelings. I think you know that you have no responsibily in the decision Eric made. You may want to re-read the many loving messages many here left for you in your previous threads.
 
You and your family are in my prayers. I'll light a candle in the ALL group for Eric and you.

Love is the only way

Dear Ange . . .
The pain will never go away, but with time it can be softened and transformed into something beautiful.
I put here a quote I discovered on the candle page:
"Death leaves a Heartache No one can Heal,
Love leaves a memory No one can steal.."
Eventually the love will overcome the pain . . . I think of it like an oyster which has a grain of sand in its shell. Over time the oyster creates a fluid that coats the harsh sand, rounds off the edges and in the end creates what becomes a beautiful pearl.
Do not despair . . .

Ange, my dearest sympathy sent your way. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't say that I know what you are going through and I hope that I never have to, but I want you to know that I am thinking and praying for you and your family.

ange...i am so sorry to read of your loss. losing someone to suicide...i have no words for how deeply i feel for you.  i am not familiar with your older posts, but i hope that here at this forum you can find some comfort.  i have never lost someone to suicide, but i have a dear family member who has tried it and almost succeeded.  i am still overwhelmed that she even attempted it.

Dear Ange
I am sorry for the loss of your brother Eric to suicide. Its hard if not impossible to understand the reasons why a person would take there own life. I haven't lost anyone to suicide so I can't begin to imagine how you are feeling with this huge loss. I can only speak from my own experiences of attempting suicide that Eric didn't set out to hurt you or your family and his friends that was the last thing he wanted and he wouldn't want you to be suffering now. He got to the point forwhatever reason depression or another mental illness that he just couldn't cope anymore and saw suicide as the only way out. It is so hard for people when they are suicidal to talk to there loved ones about how there feeling. I know my mum has said after an attempt why didn't you say anything but I never do. I love my mum to bits and we are so close especially since she became ill but the one thing I can't talk to her about is this. I don't know why maybe its because there's still a stigma about mental illness that I feel I shouldn't say so I keep it all away from her.
Eric is at peace now and thats what he would want for you to. I can understand your anger and what has happened but try not to let that take over and stop you from thinking about the good memories you have of Eric. He wouldn't want you to be angry about what happened he loved you and would only want the best for you

I am sorry to hear that you have a family member who has attempted suicide its really hard to undestand the reasons why it happened.I hope that she is doing much better now and not feeling suicidal now.
