Hurlers Syndrome - 10/16/2008 2:44 PM ( #1 )
My granddaughter was recently diagnosed with Hurlers Syndrome which an extremely serious disease and very rare. We are in the process of many different medical procedures and will be facing a stem cell transplant soon. Please take a moment to light a candle for my granddaughter and send her positive thoughts and your prayers, her candle initials are IC. By the way she is only 16 months old.

Patricia, I am sorry, my post flew away too fast. I wanted to add "...keeping your concern in my heart".

Dear Patricia, welcome!! I am so sorry to read about your granddaughter's illness. It is always so painful to see one so little suffer so much. Your granddaughter will be held in prayer as will you, her family and her parents. At times like these one often just wishes one could take the place of the little one. May the Holy One's tender love for the "Little Ones" surround and sustain your family and heal your granddaughter. Blessings of love, peace and courage be with all of you.

Patricia, I'm so very sorry to hear about your grandaughter. It must be very hard to watch her going through this. With her being so young I can't imagine trying to explain to her what is happening. I have small children myself and I hope that I never have to go through what your family is going through. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers and I do hope that your granddaugher will be healed soon and that she will have a long life. please keep us informed and come back any time if you ever need to talk.
