Hi Everyone, My first tiime on this thread....WOW! I really am in awe of lilsparrows experience. I am sitting here just reveling in your story. Just feeling it....WOW! I hope to watch the video upstairs sometime in the future. Here is the King James version of the first pages: Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men. Here's the version from the Ancient Eastern Text by George Lamsa, Aramic from the Pe****a: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and good hope for men. I have really learned alot reading here tonight. I shared many of the quotes with others tonight. So interesting and truly something to think about.... Thank you all!
Grateful to be here! What a gift and connection builder! Love and Gratitude, Love who You Are

Oh dear, Diane . . . It wasn't me who had this experience . . . it was Arthur Rosenfel in Florida . I am glad you are enjoying the thread. I come back here often, and look over the posts. There is always something new in each re-reading with love . . . sparrow

OOPS! It's kind of funny....I did not think you were a man? Or would want to punch someone. It just did not seem like you, no wonder. I am so glad you set me straight! OOPS!!! Sorry!

Sparrow, thank you for posting this story. It would have been good if I had read it early yesterday afternoon before I got a long lecture from someone picking up food, about all the things I was leaving out of his pick up and how he had been coming there since the beginning and he knew what he should be getting. He knows what he had gotten the first two weeks and I wasn't giving it to him every week any more. It REALLY would have been very beneficial for both of us if I had read this story before my response to him. (Ironically, the things he was complaining about were a 2 pound can of coffee, 5 pounds of sugar, 5 pounds of flour, large bottle of condiments, etc. We stopped giving them out weekly since individuals generally do not use that amount of basics each week). Received this A.M. The Beast in the Forest The people lived in a village in the middle of a forest. They were terrified by a beast they believed lived among the trees surrounding their homes. They had all heard its fierce roar and some were said to have even seen it. They lived in fear, hoping that if they ignored it the beast would go away. It didn't. They hired many hunters to rid them of it but without success. One day a great warrior came to their village and promised to show them how to rid their lives of the beast. As he sought the beast he, like the villagers, was very afraid, especially when he heard its roar or caught a glimpse of its fearsome appearance. Unlike the villagers, however, despite his fear, he kept on after the beast. Each time he caught sight of it or heard its roar he noticed a strange thing happening. The beast began to look smaller and to sound less fearsome. Eventually when he cornered the beast he was amazed to see that it had become very small. Before plunging his lance into it, he asked, 'Who are you?' The beast replied, 'My name is Fear' There is something about our human limitations which we are afraid of and therefore we avoid confronting ...oftentimes our biggest fears turn out to be fear itself. Blessings to all for a peace filled weekend.

Interesting story Betty. When reading about your experience with the complaining man, I was reminded of the post from Bernie which contained this: Teach us to see Jesus in the members of our family especially in their distressing disguise. I don't know how I would get on in your shoes and I really don't know how you do it faced with that sort of response. It occured to me that perhaps he was selling the food!! (Suspicious of me! ) I would have a hard job seeing Jesus in such ungrateful behaviour. Love and gratitude, Jude

Hey everyone, I am trying to start finding / making the time to come back to differeent threads. Wow this one sure is a good thread to come back to !! Sparrow, my eyes leaked when I read the "pay it backward" story. I hope I can remember it the next time I am faced with someones ire. Especially since I take on other peoples feelings thoughts etc. aka I empath everything !! But I do notice the amazing feeling when I can turn the near misses into home runs. Responding with love rather than a trigger reacion to other peoples pain disguised as anger. What a good feeling that is !! Door number 3 Betty, I also want to remember the story you told, about fear. Although that subject is a bit more tricky for me to get a handle on. Jude, Thanks for the quote by Bernie. Teach us to see Jesus in the members of our family especially in their distressing disguise. It would do me well to make it my mantra. Altnough I would extend it to include the family of humanity. Anyone I encounter who I am having an adverse reaction to. I am sending gratitude and love to you all. And lots of door number 3s. Love, liliwings

Every group we meet, work with or live among, has those who are the 'least'. It can be the one in the family who is suffering from addiction, the confused and angry teenager who is always in the wrong, the person who is sidelined in work. There are countries who are 'least' in the eyes of the rest of the world, where millions have less than basic human rights. There are continents where many millions live in poverty and fear, abandoned by the 'better-off' world. There are also the bits and pieces of ourselves which are 'least'- those aspects of ourselves we find almost impossible to accept. In all these 'leasts' there is the real, healing and intense presence of Jesus. There is a density of God's presence among the very poor, and there is the call of God in the neglected, and the compassion of God for each of us at our weakest.
Yesterday is gone forever.Tomorrow may not come. Live Fully each moment today. Look for Good Things that Happen to you Every Day.

Thank you Betty for those words. And thank you sparrow It is perhaps in the 'least' where the most opportunity for Love to grow and heal lives with love . . . Amen Hee is something I was reading about yesterday. Simple but yet not so simple to accomplish on the global level that it was referring to. "Without [global] sharing there will never be justice. Without justice there will never be peace. Sharing is the key to the future for humanity." maitreya love, liliwings

This poem was introduced to my by a dear friend, Ariela I am in Divine Unity And Divine Harmony And call upon the Holy Angels Of Clarity and Purification For Divine Unification Of our individual work and The collective work of this group. So it is through the Highest of Holy Intention that we gather here And ask for Divine Blessing. We Decree that the Highest, Most Sacred and Most Divine Protection and Energy Surround each one of us And this group. And I ask forgiveness of my Weaknesses, As I forgive others theirs. I Decree that Divine Will and Wish Flow through all my Beingness, All my bodies, All my work, All my relationships From the Mindfulness of Divine Mind And Divine Love To which I Commit And thus Serve. To alleviate the suffering of all Sentient Beings Through the All and Everything With Pledges of Pure Joy to the Divine The Holy Shamans and Holy Sages, Calling upon the Assistance of The Sacred Holy Angelic realm And all Holy Saints Through all Times and All Dimensions To direct my every thought, word, and action In choosing Divine Right Thought, Divine Right Word, Divine Right Action, Through Divine love, Divine Knowledge, Divine Wisdom, Divine Compassion, and Divine Order, So as to cause no pain. Let All things unnecessary fall away; Let Holy Abundance support me, My Mission's Path, And be my ever ready tool To expand my territory and those whose Lives I touch and whose lives touch mine. So to bring heaven throughout earth and beyond seen and unseen; Let Divine Grace and Divine Ease Be my Mentors; Let Divine Strength and Divine Discernment Be my Guardians. This I Decree as an Individual of Free will As a member of Humanity And as a part of this group. With the deepest, most Abiding Sacred gratitude, and Attitude Thanking All Those and All Things Which have brought me, Humanity and this group To this Sacred Point, Blessing Always with Immeasurable Joy and Glory, All of Creation! Many thanks to those featured today, for the work they do to better our world!!! Our focus dictates what we see, which reinforces our focus, further confining the possibility of what we will see. May you be blessed by these offerings reminding us of the beauty, wonder, and sacredness in the world around us and within us. Celebrate yourself I found this over the weekend on a blog I follow...that is simply awe inspiring always! I thought you all would love to think about this.. Liliwings...Here's a quote i have on my desk right now. "Love can not exist without a dimension of Justice" I am not sure of the author, sorry sometimes I just right them down. I love the stories you all have written here. Always a lesson to find here and be aware of with more deligence.

All I can say is that I loved reading it. some expressions feel like home. thank you for offering this to us. Also, I also enjoyed clicking on the link you provided and going to Ariela's Gaia webpage. Wowww (smiling). Thank you also for the other words you put on the page here. "Love can not exist without a dimension of Justice" I do believe that we will come to a time on this planet, in the not to distant future, where love and justice will prevail. Thank you Diane. And thank your friend Ariela, please. Sending light and love from my heart to your hearts, to the collective heart. liliwings

Hi liliwings, Isn't it Divine? I see "The Our Father" in this prayer and "The Jabez Prayer" to name two. She isn't my friend this is how it comes over the net to me though she is in spirit my friend although I have never met her or even corresponded to her if you know what I mean. Here's the sites invitation: Be a part of the expression of celebration. Submit your submission --whether you created it or found it--(containing text, image, video, and audio, poetry, quotes, etc.) anytime for the daily installments of CelebraZine, a 'running blog carnival' of self improvement by focusing on What's Right in the World....It is also called INTO THE MIST...you can sign up for it to be delivered to your email and its so well worth it! I am glad you loved it!!!

Diane, thank you for the info about CelebraZine. I do want to try it out. And yes, I know what you are saying Isn't it Divine? I see "The Our Father" in this prayer and "The Jabez Prayer" to name two. I plan to print it out and read it each day for a while. thank you again for posting it. Such amazing times we live in as we all remember ourselves as the butterflies. As humanity awakens. Jude, I too look forward to the day. I wonder if the day is today, in a way? I think that as we practice this on a daily basis in our lives, as we pray for it, we are creating the space for the miracle to come in. Yes, there is great suffering. Yet, the shift is happening. And the more we can see it, know it and feel it, the more we make space for the miracle of sharing, justice and peace that we so desire. I believe that the next step, the miracle is closer at hand then we may think. I am sending light and love and prayer in thought and action, liliwings
