Hi...

I do think the "Four Agreements" is quite simple.
It helps to simplify life and it does that!
Makes decisions easier most times.

Grateful to be here!
What a gift and connection builder!
Love and Gratitude,
Love who You Are

One Flaw In Women

Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.

Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

A child's view of thunderstorms..

A little girl walked to and from school daily.
Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school.
As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning.
The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school
and she feared the electrical storm might harm her child.
Full of concern, the mother quickly
got into her car and drove
along the route to her child's school.
As she did, she saw her little girl walking along.
At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile.
Another and another flash of lighting followed quickly and with each,
the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile.
When the mother's car drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called to her
'What are you doing?'
The child answered,
'I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture.'
May God bless you today and everyday
as you face the storms that come your way.
Yesterday is gone forever.Tomorrow may not come. Live Fully each moment today. Look for Good Things that Happen to you Every Day.

Dear Rainbow,

You still are - don´t forget your INNER CHILD!

'Until you make peace with who you are, you'll never be content with what you have.'  ~Doris Mortman

Much of the unhappiness in our world today has its roots in how we see ourselves. Too often we put ourselves down and fall into the tempting trap of comparing ourselves to others. God never makes comparisons or compares us to someone else. We can never live up to be someone else but we can live up to who God created us to be. We can begin this by believing in what we have to offer. It doesn’t have to be earth shattering but our little is all that God wants. Others may demand much but never God. God always wants to extend peace to us. Can we make peace with ourselves first and in particular as we journey through these weeks of Easter? Can we let the negative and cloudy parts of our past behind and move on. It is the only way forward.

Much Love,
Juliana

Juliana, I will comment on what other peple wrote tomorrow. It is late, but I just wanted to thank you for those inspirational words.  They speak the absolute truth, as I see it.  Thank you for who you are. Thank you all who you are. More tomorrow.  I have heard it said that the thing that can seperate us the most from divine, from our truest self,  is our own judgements against the self.  And so it is what we come to heal.  May it be.  with love and light and angels, liliwings.
No need to spend endless hours, days, weeks searching for the rainbow.  Open your heart and your eyes to see and know you are the rainbow you seek.  Rejoyce in the beauty of the co-creation of you.

Thank you, dear Liliwings! Responding to Rainbow´s post, I quite forgot to say that it is James McSweeney who says this.

May you sleep well with his comforting thoughts in mind!

I have heard it said that the thing that can seperate us the most from divine, from our truest self,  is our own judgements against the self.

It bears repeating

Jasmine

In 2003, police in Warwickshire , England, opened a garden shed and found a whimpering, cowering dog. It had been locked in the shed and abandoned. It was dirty and malnourished, and had clearly been abused.

In an act of kindness, the police took the dog, which was a Greyhound female, to the nearby Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary, run by a man named Geoff Grewcock and a place known as a willing haven for animals abandoned, orphaned or otherwise in need.

Geoff and the other sanctuary staff went to work with two aims: to restore the dog to full health, and to win her trust. It took several weeks, but eventually both goals were achieved.

They named her Jasmine, and they started to think about finding her an adoptive home.

But Jasmine had other ideas. No one remembers now how it began, but she started welcoming all animal arrivals at the sanctuary. It wouldn't matter if it was a puppy, a fox cub, a rabbit or any other lost or hurting animal, Jasmine would peer into the box or cage and, when and where possible, deliver a welcoming lick.

Geoff relates one of the early incidents.

"We had two puppies that had been abandoned beside a nearby railway line. One was a Lakeland Terrier cross and another was a Jack Russell- Doberman cross. They were tiny when they arrived at the centre and Jasmine approached them and grabbed one by the scruff of the neck in her mouth and put him on the settee. Then she fetched the other one and sat down with them, cuddling them."

"But she is like that with all of our animals, even the rabbits. She takes all the stress out of them and it helps them to not only feel close to her but to settle into their new surroundings.

"She has done the same with the fox and badger cubs, she licks the rabbits and guinea pigs and even lets the birds perch on the bridge of her nose."

Jasmine, the timid, abused, deserted waif, became the animal sanctuary's resident surrogate mother, a role for which she might have been born. The list of orphaned and abandoned youngsters she has cared for comprises five fox cubs, four badger cubs, 15 chicks, eight guinea pigs, two stray puppies and 15 rabbits.

And one roe deer fawn. Tiny Bramble, 11 weeks old, was found semi-conscious in a field. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, Jasmine cuddled up to her to keep her warm, and then went into the full foster mum role. Jasmine the greyhound showers Bramble the Roe deer with affection and makes sure nothing is matted.

"They are inseparable," says Geoff "Bramble walks between her legs and they keep kissing each other. They walk together round the sanctuary.

It's a real treat to see them."

Jasmine will continue to care for Bramble until she is old enough to be returned to woodland life. When that happens, Jasmine will not be lonely. She will be too busy showering love and affection on the next orphan or victim of abuse.

From left, Toby, a stray Lakeland dog; Bramble, orphaned Roe deer; Buster, a stray Jack Russell; a dumped rabbit; Sky, an injured barn owl; and Jasmine with a Mother’s heart doing best what a caring Mother would do...

What a beautiful, beautiful story, dear Betty.
kindness is not just for us 'thinking people' . . .
it comes from deep within the heart
and lives somewhere in all of God's creatures

Dear Betty,
Thank you so much for that. These are the kind of true stories I have been reading in my present book. I have always thought that animals can teach us so many things.
