Please join me in welcoming and saying a few prayers for tiny new arrival Seren (Welsh for 'Star')
My friend Jinny who recently got married has her first grandchild, born today, five weeks early and weighing 4lb 4oz.
Pround and excited grandmother, but worrying that she is so small and premature.

Welcome to the world little Seren. May you grow and grow and show everyone how strong you are! Jude, please remind little Seren's family that many babies born early survive and thrive. Please also let Seren and her family know that they are in my thoughts and prayers. I will light a candle for her.
