since the paint is on the tough, outer shell.
The delcate transparent flying wings are tucked safely underneath,
to protect them until they are needed for flying.
So you can rest easy . . .
ladybugs migrate through here.
They have been stopping off here,
resting in the window frames
where they somehow get in through the cracks . . .
a hundred or two I have seen at one time.
Then one day,
all of a sudden
they will be gone,
leaving no trace that they have visited here.

I am with you my dear, and each day  I pass a billboard of a big Lady Bug with a Little Lady bug, its for the local hospital, however, as soon as I saw it, thought of You and your son and said a little prayer, i continue to do that each day i go to work.

Buba, I have just joined this site, & only a few minutes ago, I was crying sitting in my car, and saying the very same thing. I lost my 10 year old boy this summer of a very rare brain infection (amebic encephalitis). He went from a bright happy boy excited to start school to brain dead in 2 days. Buba, he had been 10 years old for 12 days before we lost our beautiful boy. Here, we just celebrated our fall Thanksgiving, which is a big family holiday feast, and it was unbearable. I feel that I can't breathe sometimes, as if he had just died. And it feels as if it will get so much worse as Christmas and New Year approach. Those were his favorite times. I don't know if I can bear this. I tell myself that if he could bear to die before me, then I must bear to live after him. He has a sister and brother that I still must raise. I do not know if I have that strength. I will light candles for Goran and my son, Philip, and for our mothers' hearts, that somehow we may survive. I am sorry without measure for your grief.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious son, and yes, of course the pain is unbearable. I am thankful I have never lost a child, but my daughter did, and just like you she, at first, wanted to join that child.
Sandra, it's very early days for you. Give yourself little treats.....mother yourself. This is so important for all of us.
