I have it too, I had it for years (in French). I used to read it to my children. There is very, very profound stuff in that book.

I cannot locate it now, it is probably still in a box from when we moved here in 2008.

I have not unpacked a lot of boxes because the garage where they are was flooded sometimes just a little, sometimes a lot, 9 times since we moved here.

All the stress I got...

I will have to get out my copy of The Little Prince out again.  It's been a llllloooonnnngggg time.
Sparrow, Dear,  I well remember one nine day directed retreat that had The Velveteen Rabbit as it basis and there was never a lapse for meditative material.
Dearest Buba, you are definitely NOT crazy.  With so many sirens going by, it seems so
obvious that Goran wants you to KNOW how much he is with you and surrounding you with his love.  Bless you for living in the present moment enough to notice!

But the wonderful thing is that you are trying!Thank you!
I do not know is this a ladybug's season, but these are pictures I took
this morning in my morning walk; I saw 4 ladybugs in the same bush with flowers,
in the school yard near my home:

Closer... two on the same flower ( and an ant!)

...and closer...

  third one...

  4 -th one....

Dear Buba,
I tend to agree with Sparrow. I haven't seen any ladybirds this year that I can remember. they are all coming to see you!

Dear One,Is it possible all the ladybirds that you are finding have a dual purpose--first, to let you know how very much you are held in Goran's love and how close he is to you; and secondly, perhaps you keep finding them because he also wants you to know how proud he is of you for pursuing your family heritage, with  the ladybirds there to encourage you to develop this heritage more and more.  May you continue to find the special signs for the result of your "finds" are a gift of beauty to us all.

Re:It is so hard without my son - 10/22/2009 12:16 PM ( #355 )

I was painting today with grey color the outside of window, when I spotted some little bug wigwag with it's legs and "glued" with it's back at wet colored surface...
I took a wooden stick and save her,it was a ladybug!Poor one got grey spots!
I thought about how to remove color from her back, thinking she will not be able to fly, but she flied on the curtain:

After some time she was gone. I hope she is safe...

Dear Buba,

I agree with Edda: your loving care for all living creatures - not only for ladybugs, which, I am sure, are a sign from your dear Goran - is very touching. It reminds me of a quote by the great Russian writer Leo Tolstoy:

Rid yourself of everything that prevents you from connecting with all living creatures. Try to strengthen this connection as much as you can.

With Love,
Juliana

Dear Buba,
Your Ladybug looks as if she has encountered someone doing some painting! Maybe she will stay with you for the winter.

I really agree with your quote Juliana.
