Please light a candle for Scott. - 11/5/2008 4:22 PM ( #1 )
At the moment I am lighting a candle for a little boy who is only 16 months old and has been diagnosed with a neuroblastoma....he has had one or two operations to remove the cancer and various organs and he is having stem cells harvested on Friday if he is well enough in the hope that a new treatment at the Royal Marsden hospital in London later this month will save his life.... Fingers crossed...a message has just gone up from his mm...he is booked in to the University College London Hospital for his op on 17th november.
I wonder if you would all go light a candle for the little boy. His name is Scott and there is a group of candles lit for him.... Also the ladies on Joanna Sheens card making forum are reaching out to join hands and put on a united front for prayers for him...if anyone would like to join us just please reach out to Scott....thank you

Margaret

Welcome to the forum, Margaret!
I just lit a candle for little Scott. This is the group's name I believe. I'll keep him and his family in my prayers hoping that he will respond to treatment. Thank you for your compassion!
Please, express my good wishes to his family!

With every good wish for you,
Edda
Peace and joy!

I too, would like to welcome you to the forum Margaret . . .
It is always heartbreaking to hear of a person who is suffering or in pain, but moreso in the case of an innocent little child.
I have joined Edda and Juliana in lighting candles for Scott's return to health.
My heart goes out to you and the family.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers
with much love . . .

Dear Margaret,

I am glad you came to the forum and asked us to light a candle: I will feel blessed to do so. I had a child who was very ill as a newborn and toddler, so I know a little of what the family is going through. Take heart that doctors know alot, but miracles can and do happen like one did for my infant daughter. Please remember that because doctors do not know every mystery of the universe.

I will go now and find the group Scott and light a candle for him. It is so hard when they are so little. I am sure he is a fighter though.

May you feel the warm of my prayers I am sending up for Scott.

I also am going to light a candle for him; I also read the update in the other thread.  I pray he will heal for the procedure he needs done.

With Love,
kriann
