Dear Roseanna . . .
This time of year is so hard . . . the world is all a'bustle with the joy of the holidays, but underneath, it is also the time when sometimes the sense of our losses is often the deepest.
I keep you and little Mary Sue in my thoughts and prayers . . .
with much love . . .

Dear Roseanna,
Mary and you are in my thoughts tonight, I will light a candle for both of you in the All group, to send my thoughts to you across the net! Warm hugs, I know this time of year is so difficult when you have lost someone. You know Roseanna, I am sure that through this little Mary is holding your hand in spirit, and feeling so proud of her mum... I am glad you are lighting candles for her.
The world revolves and the seasons
they roll their magic on.
yet for some the special times
are never here for long, but you know
their spirit lingers on -

In summer rainbows and through sunlit rays
echoes of special smiles sparkle back at you,
And in the cooler Autumn breeze
within the shades of  reds and browns,
warm memories of their golden heart
loving unconditionally -

When winter calls and snow falls,
you can still catch their joy, giggle sprinkled
and when warm spring wraps in her arms
new borns under skies as blue as can be
their wonder of everyday life
is every where to see - and where you walk,
their special love and a life lived true
Will always comfort you.
love and hugs

I wrote this poem in memory of my Nephew's twin babies who died.

In Memory of Elizabeth and Lucy.

How can we know why they had to leave us?
What can we think that makes any sense?
Only that they came in order to love us,
To teach us that Love is why we exist.

Theirs is the voice of the blackbird in Springtime.
There they are, twinkling in each Winter star.
Though they were with us for only a short time,
We’re not alone, as they haven’t gone far.

Two little heads still look towards you.
Four little hands caress your face.
Two tender hearts reach out to love you.
Two rays of sun to comfort your days.

Judith. 23rd September 01.

Dear Jude . . .
What a beautiful poem . . .
Love that binds us is so much stronger
than Death that only appears to take it away
with love . . .

I had my first Christmas card today! It was from my nephew who's twin girls are mentioned in the poem.
I was saddened to receive a newsletter with the card with all the year's events listed, and a small postscript on the bottom, as if as an afterthought, that he and his wife had separated.
I did know about it and I put them all on the Forum at the time, but I feel sad for him, that he can't communicate his feelings to friends and family about the separation, which is devastating his family.
So much grief for one family to bear.

Thank you Roseanna so much for returning to the forum.
You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers, especially during the holidays which are so festive for some, but fraught with grief for others.

Roseanna:  I also came today to light a candle for my daughter.  She was murdered 13 years ago.  By someone who we both loved very much.  Please KNOW that I do understand your loss and you are in my prayers.  This is a hard time but the love of family and it seems to me the support of the loving people on this site may bring us both just a little more happiness in this our time of sorrow.  I know that this came to me at the perfect time in my life as I am always sad around the Holidays.  This is a good place for us to be. I truely belive that GOD does lead us to things for a reason.  May you find peace.  Debbie
