i lite this candle in memory of my daughter mary sue

i losted my daughter mary sue  she was 8 the 12 of this mth willbe 3 mths since shes been gone  thats y me and my family lite a few candles 4 her in memory of her life

Welcome to the forum, Roseanna! I am so very sorry for the loss of your daughter. My heart goes out to you. I'll be glad to light a candle for her in the ALL group. Perhaps you would like to start a special candle group for her. I hope you will come back often, and perhaps tell us more about your daughter when you are able to do so. You will meet other mothers who have lost children and understand what you are going through. This is a safe place to share your thoughts and feelings. There is always someone ready to listen. ty i hope this will help me deal with this i'm so losted  with out mary sumtime i just want 2 scream til i loss my voice i cry everynite wishing she was here i keep asking my self y  mary not me the parents r spose 2 go 1st not the kids  but i'm never going 2 get the answers i want 

Dear Roseanna, I'm so sorry you lost your daughter. It's early days yet and you are bound to be feeling bad. Do come and light candles with us and talk some more if you would like to. We are always here to listen, and, as Edda says several here have also lost children.

Dearest Roseanna! Your grief is so fresh and painful. It is good that you can cry. Children aren't supposed to die before their parents but it happens. They have been a gift to their family for too short a time! And there aren't any good answers. Know that you are not alone in your grief.
I don't know what your beliefs are, but I myself believe that those who have passed on to a new life are very close to us, that we can talk to them and listen to them in our hearts.

my beliefs r that same  i was told that she not in anymore pain and looking down on her family it just hurts so bad i'm going through this alone  my family doesnt understand what i'm going though  i just want mary sue memory 2 live on in our hearts i was told god does stuff in different ways n we cant understand y god does what he does my uncle said god needed another angel and he seen mary was sick so he took her

I too will light a candle in the All group for your beloved and sorely missed daughter Mary Sue. Time will never erase her memory, but perhaps with time the intensity of the pain will lessen. i am sure you can not imagine that yet, but it is possible.
 
I will say a prayer for your family too in this time of mourning.

Dear, dear Roseanna . . .
I welcome you with open arms my dear, as have others. It is with a deep sadness you have come here . . .
I do believe you are in the right place, and hope that you can feel some comfort while you grieve.
I, like you, lost a child many years ago, and it changed my life forever. I miss him always, but am grateful for the short time he was with me. For you the grief is so fresh and raw that it almost feels like a physical pain. You will be sorrowful as is natural, but over time if you allow yourself, your broken heart will be open and not only will joy return little by little, but you will love more and more as well.
I wish like Jude and Edda, that I could put my arms around you. I hope that there is someone in your life you can talk to . . . in the meantime we are here, and we care for you.
I hold you close to my heart as I feel your sadness. I have felt the very same sadness myself, and understand just how painful it is.
I light a candle for your precious little daughter Mary Sue and pray that you might find some thing, even just one thing to smile about. As Edda says, your daughter is near . . . listen with your heart. You will have her there forever.

Dear Rosanne, Sparrow is right. Putting a loved one into your heart really does help. It works for me, especially when I am feeling specially sad. No-one can take Mary Sue from your heart.

I wrote this poem in memory of my Nephew's twin babies who died.
 
In Memory of Elizabeth and Lucy.
 
 
How can we know why they had to leave us?
What can we think that makes any sense?
Only that they came in order to love us,
To teach us that Love is why we exist.
 
Theirs is the voice of the blackbird in Springtime.
There they are, twinkling in each Winter star.
Though they were with us for only a short time,
We’re not alone, as they haven’t gone far.
 
Two little heads still look towards you.
Four little hands caress your face.
Two tender hearts reach out to love you.
Two rays of sun to comfort your days.

I had my first Christmas card today! It was from my nephew who's twin girls are mentioned in the poem.
I was saddened to receive a newsletter with the card with all the year's events listed, and a small postscript on the bottom, as if as an afterthought, that he and his wife had separated.
I did know about it and I put them all on the Forum at the time, but I feel sad for him, that he can't communicate his feelings to friends and family about the separation, which is devastating his family.
So much grief for one family to bear.

Roseanna:  I also came today to light a candle for my daughter.  She was murdered 13 years ago.  By someone who we both loved very much.  Please KNOW that I do understand your loss and you are in my prayers.  This is a hard time but the love of family and it seems to me the support of the loving people on this site may bring us both just a little more happiness in this our time of sorrow.  I know that this came to me at the perfect time in my life as I am always sad around the Holidays.  This is a good place for us to be. I truely belive that GOD does lead us to things for a reason.  May you find peace.  Debbie
