The latest on Scott.

Prayers etc are urgently needed for this little chap....the following is a post his Mummy put up on the forum yesterday.
 
Scott had another xray taken yesterday which showed an accumulation of fluid on one of his lungs,
this has not improved since the xray on tuesday even though Scott has been on antibiotics,
his temperature is now stable so
this raises a question as to whether the neuroblastoma has spread into his lungs,
within the next couple of days he is due to have an ultrasound and fluid tap,
this after analysis will tell us what is contained in the fluid on his lung,
he is also due to have a urine catacholamines test,
with the increased activity and spread we are expecting these to have become worse,
an anxious few days ahead for us and a chat between Scott and myself,
if the neuroblastoma has spread to his lungs once he is onto oral medication (sooner rather than later)
then he will go home for the time that remains,
im sorry this isnt better news but i dont want to talk and want time to ourselves ...

I'm so sorry too that it isn't better news. I will light a candle for him and the family, that what happens next will be for the very best for Scott.

Love is the only way

Dear Margaret . . .
I am deeply saddened for this family. The road before them is not easy.
I pray that their love will guide them through the days ahead as they say farewell to one so young and brave.
If you have Hospice in your area, they are a wonderful group of people who may be able to help ease the way.

Dear Margaret, I am so very sorry to hear about Scott's condition. My heart goes out to his family! I will keep them in my prayers and a candle lit!
