Oh my dear Kriann . . .
I am so sorry to hear the news. As far as I can tell, you have been lighting candles and praying for other people with never a mention of your own heartache until a few days ago.
Please know that I grieve with you at this prognosis, and will be holding you in my heart in the days and weeks to come. It is a life-changing journey you are embarking on, one that contains gifts for both you and your partner. You now might have the time to reflect together on a life well spent and a love well lived.

I am so very sorry to hear the news about your partner's illness. This is life-changing as Sparrow says but it can become an opportunity to grow in your love and care for each other. Do hold on to hope, since more and more treatments are available. I'll be glad to light a candle for pd and you as well and keep you in my prayers.

thank you and i am going to work on seeing it as a time full of gifts.  the good news is that though it's stage 3,  nothing has changed in terms of symptoms in the past year.  so i hope she will stay healthy for a long time yet.

Thank you.  I talked to her oncologist two nights ago, though she's been stage 3 for a year and a half, we didn't know that.  But the doctor was also very reassuring and God is always there for us.
