Kaye, my dear 95 year old friend who died this spring would have been so very happy today. Her family meant everything to her . . .
A grate-granddaughter was born yesterday.
Her name is Violet . . .
I light a candle of warm welcome to this precious little life
with love full to bursting . . .

SPARROW, I AGEE WITH JUDE THAT I'M SURE KAYE WAS RIGHT THERE TO SEE VIOLET COME INTO THIS WORLD. I'M ALSO SURE THAT SHE WILL BE WATCHING OVER VIOLET. I WILL GO AND LIGHT A CANDLE FOR THIS PRECIOUS BABY.

Thank you all, for the candles lit and the kind words.
I too, thought that "Violet" was a beautiful name...so imbued with sweetness . . . and indeed, little Violet is very little weighing just under 4 pounds. But she is doing so well she has been taken out of the NICU.

Sparrow, I'm pleased to hear that little Violet is doing well. She is well named isn't she? the flower may be small, but the perfume and the energy of the flower is very strong. Also it's one of the highest of spiritual colours, being that of the crown chakra.
