My firstborn son Seneca

I lost my loving son Seneca Charles Miceli 23, 10/1/03. He had overdosed on Methadone, he got from a girl at work, who it was prescribed for. His brother 20, and I found him at home. He was revived and taken to the hospital. We, the family watched him crash and come back 6 times. But he lost his fight after 4 hours. At the time of his passing I had given birth to his sister aged 2 1/2 months. She has been my hope. But the pain and heartache are still felt for the loss of my son. There is not a minute or day that he is not on my mind. I believe this will not go away. As a parent you never will "get over it". Please pray for us and light a candle for Seneca. His birthdate is New Years day. 1-1-80. Our New Year every year starts with pain and pleasure of his memory. God Bless you.

Dear Marie, welcome to the forum! I am so very sorry for your loss. As you have already discovered, there are many mothers in this forum who mourn the loss of a child. They can understand. I'll light a candle for you son in the "ALL" group. Wishing you everything good, Edda

Thank you Edda for lighting a candle for my son Seneca. From seeing this website you are truly one of God's workers to help those in need. You have helped many in time of need and given comfort and relief. It is a very special spiritual place to come to. Keep up the good work. Thank you. Seneca's Mom Marie

Jeni thanks for lighting another candle for me. I am starting to feel good emotion again from all the caring, hope and kind words that are here. I am learning to smile again. LOL. I have been stuck for over three years. If the world was like Gratefullnes what a place it would be! Praise the Lord and the people that work in His way. Seneca's Mom Marie

To All of Us Here, Sometimes the challenges of everyday life can be a great burden to carry. We have all been brought together by Loss, Pain, Grief, Heartache, Health, Concern, Despair and War. Yet there are so many here that care and help bring us through. For some the burden is one after another. We have all been brought here by one God. This is where he wanted us to be. Lord thank you for giving us one another to give us Strength, Kindness, Comfort and Hope through these Heartfelt times. Alone we could not complete our Journey without one another as you intended it to be. We have been given Strength and Hope to overcome our burdens that have been weighing heavy on Our side. Now we are United with Our Brothers and Sisters in Christ to look after one another and give Peace. We were not aware of this was part of Your plan. We are now part of a new community with new brothers and sisters At the end of our journey we will rejoice in having found one another when we all meet again. Until then keep watching over us here to give fellowship to one another. We will continue to Use you Glorious name. We are truly Gratefull. Amen Seneca's Mom Marie

Lord thank you for everything good and positive I have in my life. Help me to overcome the loss I have suffered and the confusion and self doubt. Please help me to see the many beautiful things you have created for us to enjoy. "I know the plans I have for you to give you a future and a Hope". Jeremiah 29:11 Seneca's Mom Marie

Seneca my son, my baby, my little boy in blue. You have been gone for a while now. I can count the days one by one. The pain of your loss still remain. Everyone has moved on in their own way to cope with your loss. Your memory shines through brighter than before. The pain will forever be in our hearts. But now it is seen clearer than before. God has given us the strength and perserverance to see it in a different way than before. Our Love for you will never go away. You are still in our thoughts everyday. Sometimes your memory comes through in ways of a beautiful sunny day or through the nature of the woods behind our home. I look to the sky and thank God for having been given the strength to see it this way. I continue to use your name Seneca, my son, my little baby boy in blue, to keep your memory alive and help me to continue to heal. Acceptance of your loss is now apparent. For that I am grateful. Thank you God for easing my soul. The absense of you presence is still everywhere my little baby boy in blue. Love your Mom
