I am trying to practice gratitude, not only for things which seem suitable, but things that for the moment I can only see as 'negative', because I know these things can be in a plan which is over my head. Sue

Welcome to the forum, Sue! You are off to a good start! Have you read "Gratefulness, the Heart of Prayer" by Brother David Steindl-Rast? I really love this book, a great guide to the practice of gratefulness.
With every good wish,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Sue, I am writing from Chicago! If you can't find the book in a store near you, you can order it from Amazon.com. I just checked there!
Wishing you everything good,
Edda
Peace and joy!
