in memory of Jim. - 12/9/2008 1:54 PM ( #1 )
Dear All,
Would you join me in lighting a candle in the All group for Gardner Jim Webber from Dorset in the UK? His story is on http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20081208/tuk-britain-s-oldest-worker-dies-at105-6323e80.html.
I never knew Jim, but his story has touched my heart.
Thank you!
love Gina and Gemma.

Dear Gina, Jim was what I would describe as one of the 'real people.' the salt of the earth. I've known a few 'real people' and they are very close to my heart.

I will light a candle in the all group for him.

Dear Jude, Susie, & Edda, thank you for lighting a candle for Jim. I thought he was such an inspiration, you know such a spirit really. I wish I could have known him.
Re Gemma: lol. She is my daughter. She must have been in my thoughts somehow. She doesnt "work" in a  paid way, but yesterday she got recognised by the army for her work with the families and the children and has been asked to visit the CO for drinks. So I am proud of her. I guess it was all in my mind when I wrote about Jim.

love to all
Gina
