Candlelight over the whole world - 12/13/2008 10:35 PM ( #1 )
The second Sunday in Decembre, the day to remember at all lost children in the world.
I lit a candle and put it outside my window, and no wind shall blow it, no bad thought schall disturb the shine of it...
abandoned parents...

Dear Isabella,

Thank you for telling us that this Sunday is for all lost children in the world, and the parents who are deprived of what is most precious to them.
I can't light a candle in my window but will light one in the ALL group!

Much love,
Edda
Peace and joy!

Dear Isabella, I will light a candle too. Today children are also very much in my thoughts. I am thinking of those who have lost their parents or a parent. They must feel lost too somehow.

Dear Isabella,
Thank you for starting this thread. It seems especially suitable this morning, as although nobody I'm thinking of has lost a child or a parent in reality, they all must be feeling very insecure.
My Son's girlfriend, who took him back earlier this year after a breakup, says this morning that she is leaving him for good this time as she has found out he has been cheating on her again. My heart breaks for her and the three children involved. Her two children already suffer a broken home and must miss having a father at home. I know the youngest one sees my Son as a 'dad.' Chloe suffers the heartache of not seeing her mother, has been uprooted from her former home and must never feel secure, what with all that and the problems between her father and me. It's a very unsettling time for children these days.
I have to somehow find it in my heart to feel sympathy for my Son, but it's hard. I do feel sorry for him, that he doesn't seem able to 'be' in his heart and is a very restless spirit.
