Let us hope we have all learned that our faith must
first be in GOD....
What we learn is through that faith, trust, love.....
 
WHAT I’VE LEARNED
 
I’ve learned....
Always be yourself.....
          Everyone else is taken.
 
I’ve learned....
We should be glad GOD doesn’t give us everything we ask for.
 
I’ve learned....
Money doesn’t buy class.
 
I’ve learned....
It’s those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
 
I’ve learned....
That under everyone’s hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated
and loved.
 
I’ve learned...
That the Lord didn’t do it all in one day.  What makes me think I can?
 
I’ve learned....
That to ignore the facts does not change the fact.
 
I’ve learned....
That when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that
person continue to hurt you.
 
I’ve learned....
Let go and Let God.
 
I’ve learned....
That love, not time, heals all wounds.
 
I’ve learned...
That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
 
I’ve learned....
That there’s nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling
their breath on your cheeks.
 
I’ve learned....
Every path has some puddles.
 
I’ve learned....
Words that soak into your ears are whispered, not yelled.
 
I’ve learned….
Be thankful for every meal.
 
I’ve learned….
Take a nap on Sunday afternoon.
 
I’ve learned….
Keep it simple.

In God’s world, every day is a thanksgiving day.

That life is tough, but I’m tougher, stronger, through faith.

That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

 I wish I could have told those I cared about that I love them one more
time before they passed away.

Thank you for the long list of things we want to learn. Some of them I have learned, but I don't think I can tackle the whole list all at once! There's a lot of wisdom to be found; some things we each have to discover for ourselves. I think your list could provide many of us with New Year's resolutions!
 
I hope you will visit often and share with us more of your wisdom and experience!

Glad you like it.  I've been writing it for years.  Everytime I hear or think of a quote - I add it to the list.   You can do the same.

me yet however my faith is love and this is one step nearer to Jesus I am

God is in my heart but sometimes not always in my understanding.
(I am working on this one!)

The 10 Commandments - God's Revelation in the Old Testament
The 10 Commandments are found in the Bible's Old Testament at Exodus, Chapter 20. They were given directly by God to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai after He had delivered them from slavery in Egypt:


"And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the LORD your God


ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'

THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'

SIX: 'You shall not murder.'

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'

EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'
Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:36-40).
