An Integral Approach to Healing... - 1/10/2009 2:04 PM ( #1 )
An integral approach to healing means:(1) that the psychological, the physical, the emotional, & the spiritual are able to work in fruitful tandem; and (2) that whatever constitutes one - at whatever level or dimension - is worked with in the context of one's innate wholeness of being.

Integration and unification are direly important towards becoming evermore holistic, nondual, in lieu of becoming dualistic, dichotomized, split.  Throughout the historical process man has not been able to become truly whole and unified from within because of the many negative forces that are working against our optimal growth & development; rather than assuming a growth hypothesis that is natural and universal which propels individuals towards their full potentialities we focus on deficiency-values that dehumanize & desacralize...

The prime focus of alchemy is creativity expressing itself through you. When creativity is awakened a person has a chance to see life in better perspective which allows us to face the obstacles which hold us back from becoming who we really are... The healthy integration of self - the healing of self - needs a suitable crucible for whatever changes are necessary. That crucible, that container for Awakening's alchemy, is ideally present both inwardly - in one's commitment to healing - & outwardly - in supportive environments, like the company of kindred spirits. This is beautifully represented by the classical Greek word temenos, meaning a sacred enclosed space, a vessel or environment wherein transformation occurs.
