Hi Jude...Your purrrty cat pictures are great! I especially love the prayer one and the bucket ones and the playful kittens ones, and the ....ok all of them.
I love your story about your "kneadler" one....ouch...scratched up legs....oh dear!!!Funny how he has his chosen areas of this kitty nature...go figure. "The joy of being a cat owner" Do you remember the cartoon with the lover skunk and the cat?
And they showed the kitty all snuggled right on top of him kneading and him sweating and trying so hard to take the nails digging into him??? As he was hoping she'd stop and settle down and fall asleep! Well that's PUFF...if you "let" her anyways!
Sooo very true! When we had the fires here I had to bring the cats I had inside, no other choice. So we put them in the attic area upstairs, set it up quite nice for them. Well PUFF decided she loved the inside so when we went back to the old normal she would sneak in all the time..it was kind of hilarious as we would shoo her back out...and she would persist for quite some time sneaking back in all kinds of different ways. After awhile I would just say out and she would reluctantly scoot on out....now she is great...if I she asks to come in and when I do allow it...she knows to go downstairs and actually waits for me to open the door. Who says they are not smart??? or can not be trained??? If only we could of gotten that through to her kneading habit!!!
Edda,
My son has asthma so we can not have her inside. I quit having my cats in as soon as we learned this...it was really hard for me to adjust as I had always had cats in and out of my home. But in real life "my sons needs are priority always. " I just recently started to allow her in my bedroom since he is older now and not in my bedroom much anymore. So far its been working out. But the other living space remain off limits as we know when he visits other people's home's who do have cats he has a problem if he's there too long. Also we have coyotes in our area so she needs her sharp claws for her own protection!!! I had thought about that option actually before just because its so very annoying.
Sandra....You are soo very funny and I picture you sleeping so peacefully as your kitty is crawling all over you in bed....

Kitty-cats are so fun...and their nature is fun to learn to live in harmony with...as learning the right boundaries you may just give in to some...along the way or??? I love and enjoyed your descriptions of her as you posted your pics of her here today! Her on your head as you were putting up the pics

....too fun. We'll see who rules the roost in a few months??

Love to all...and our furry little babes!!!!
