Hi Jude...Your purrrty cat pictures are great! I especially love the prayer one and the bucket ones and the playful kittens ones, and the ....ok all of them.

I love your story about your "kneadler" one....ouch...scratched up legs....oh dear!!!Funny how he has his chosen areas of this kitty nature...go figure. "The joy of being a cat owner" Do you remember the cartoon with the lover skunk and the cat?
And they showed the kitty all snuggled right on top of him kneading and him sweating and trying so hard to take the nails digging into him??? As he was hoping she'd stop and settle down and fall asleep! Well that's PUFF...if you "let" her anyways!

Sooo very true! When we had the fires here I had to bring the cats I had inside, no other choice. So we put them in the attic area upstairs, set it up quite nice for them. Well PUFF decided she loved the inside so when we went back to the old normal she would sneak in all the time..it was kind of hilarious as we would shoo her back out...and she would persist for quite some time sneaking back in all kinds of different ways. After awhile I would just say out and she would reluctantly scoot on out....now she is great...if I she asks to come in and when I do allow it...she knows to go downstairs and actually waits for me to open the door. Who says they are not smart??? or can not be trained??? If only we could of gotten that through to her kneading habit!!!

Edda,
My son has asthma so we can not have her inside. I quit having my cats in as soon as we learned this...it was really hard for me to adjust as I had always had cats in and out of my home.  But in real life "my sons needs are priority always. " I just recently started to allow her in my bedroom since he is older now and not in my bedroom much anymore. So far its been working out. But the other living space remain off limits as we know when he visits other people's home's who do have cats he has a problem if  he's there too long. Also we have coyotes in our area so she needs her sharp claws for her own protection!!! I had thought about that option actually before just because its so very annoying.

Sandra....You are soo very funny and I picture you sleeping so peacefully as your kitty is crawling all over you in bed....  Kitty-cats are so fun...and their nature is fun to learn to live in harmony with...as learning the right boundaries you may just give in to some...along the way or??? I love and enjoyed your descriptions of her as you posted your pics of her here today! Her on your head as you were putting up the pics....too fun. We'll see who rules the roost in a few months??

Love to all...and our furry little babes!!!!
Diane

aww Jude Tina is so sweet and bright with it God bless her!!

Sandra....You are soo very funny and I picture you sleeping so peacefully as your kitty is crawling all over you in bed.... Kitty-cats are so fun

I don't belive this will ever happen Diane Isabella rules the roost she actually does

Well last night she turned into a Puff when I turned the lights out.

My darling puddy cat snuggled right up to me and I was so happy until....

she clawed clawed clawed and clawed me at least 50 times...

I told her it was not nice and I kept telling he I loved her ..but would she listen

in the end after about 1 hour I gave her a tap and told her to stop.

I then felt guilty and gave her some food and extra hugs .

Then we snuggled down together but she purred so loud it kept me awake.

I made a big mistake by moving her a fraction from my head

that was it all hell let loose.

She played with my hair toes and my emotions for about an hour.

I tried to ignore her Edda as you popped to mind.

After a while we both fell alseep but it was about 3am at this stage..

The lovely thing is I woke early to find her sleeping above my head on the pillow.

You see I had to hide under the duvet before she left me be last night

So my Darling Isabella II may be swoped for Isabella I and I am serious

I am hoping tonight will be better ..but all in all how could I be cross with her

she is so cute

Oh sorry I must apollagise regarding my spelling yesterday

it's normally bad but not that bad.

I made a few mistakes in threads that I would rather not have it's Isabella II fault

and mine too.. sorry..

Sandra.....I didn't notice!!! Anyway, we all do.

I laughed so much at your night-time antics. Isabella ll thinks you're her mother and that's why she is kneading you with her claws. They do that to encourage the mother cat to produce milk, and for some reason adult cats don't grow out of it. The action must remind them of the pleasure they got from their mother's milk and soft fur.
At least she did go to sleep, so that's encouraging.

Little Tina was resued from under a drain cover at the farm I later went to work at. We were living in Sussex at the time and up here for a holiday. We took her home to Sussex to live for about 14 years, then brought her back here when we moved. She was the sweetest cat.

Jude it's so nice to know your puddy cat was rescued ..bless you kind and gentle heart...

Jude but Isabella will not get milk from me  matter how much she gets

her claws out!!

Actually thinking about what you just said..isn't that just so beauitful the miracle of Mothers and their off spring.

I wanted to feed Louis this way but sadly this was not meant to be.

I would become a nurse milk maid if I could but not to my darling puddy cat though as those

claws would do damage

I shall carry on as we both are settling in now with each other despite of her night life!!

Jude I could do with your lovely moon picture with the black puddy cat!!

I have had more than my fair share of laughter this morning
reading all of these posts,
looking at all of the beautiful cat photographs,
(whoever said they would be wonderful cards is so right!)
and watching the cats in the videos . . .
all while my own cats are eating, scratching, romping
in the background . . .
I feel surrounded by cats!
Absolutely lovely.
I can't stay,
but you can be sure that I will be back
with love and more cat pictures . . .

Good Morning All,

a miracle happened last night Isabella II slept all night long !!

I think she got vibes from the lovely Betty.

What I did was when I went to bed I left her on my computer chair
and this morning when I

woke she was still there ( a girl after my own heart)!!

What a good puddy cat I have today...

Well I have fed her this morning  and she seems good so far

and it's her first day at home by herself!

Can you all send her pray she will be a good little puddy cat whilst I am at work.

Lots of love to cat owners, dog owners , spider owners and non pet owners too.

Sandra and   xxxx

ps ...Oh I got lovely organic wood pellet cat litter  for her litter tray it is   brilliant .

Dear Sandra . . .
I hope the organic litter pellets work for you.
They didn't for me,
but maybe that was because I have so many cats.
I am happy to hear that little Isabella II slept all night . . .
she is adjusting.
It dosn't mean of course,
that there will be no trouble.
This is what greeted me the other morning
when I went into our teeny tiny bathroom . . .

. . . someone who shall remain nameless
decided to play toilet paper games . . .
and here is my work supervisor
taking her job very seriously . . .

a very stern task-master she is.
I love the video of cat and mechanical mouse.
lol
It must have been radio controlled?
(the mouse I mean)
I will be sure to send out a comforting thought for little Isabella
on her first day alone
with love . . .

Indeed Isabella II was she was such a good puddy cat.

I left her in my spare bedroom I even dragged in my computer chair to make her

feel more at home!!I think it worked I actually doshe had the run of the hall

too plus her toys and scratch pole..

Well I came home wondering all sorts.Bless her heart and soul she

greeted me at the door with lots of purrs.

Isabella II was well beahved but she did not eat her dried food at all.

I gave her a meat pouch and she ate half of   it.She has had more since.

Diane I added water last night to the dried food but luck.

I am unsure no what to do because if I leave her extra food tomorrow

she may eat it in all one go and be

As I type now she is on my lap purring.

Sparrow she used the wood organic litter pellets  worked. My puddy cat

is well behaved not like your badly behaved  cats

All you dog lovers will fall for Isabella soon I promise you

Lets hope she lets me sleep again tonight I have a feeling she will.

I am suppose to go to   tomorrow night but this would mean I won't be home until

10.pm.I would be out from 7am and I think it would be too long for her

to be without food or company.

The joys of it all hey
