Please keep my little darling Blackberry in your thoughts. He just gave me a fright by keeling over. He seems to have got over what ever it was, but obviously it's not long now. Oh dear!! Jude

Dear Jude . . . A candle has been lit for little Blackberry. If it right, that the sun might shine on him for a little bit longer with much love . . . sparrow

Thank you dear Sparrow. He's eaten some chicken and appears to have recovered for now. A tip I got from a cat lover and cattery owner who's proffession was midwife, was to give a few drops of diluted southern Comfort!! apparently it has some properties which are similar to Resue Remedy. So Blackberry has had some, and I need some too!! Love, Jude

Buba, remarkably, that is a very good likeness to Blackberry. In my house, a black cat crossing your path is usually a sign it's hungry!! Love, Jude

I love this, Buba! Jude . . . a bottle of Southern Comfort is a thing from my past . . . long gone . . . I have a black cat too, and I can vouch for you, Jude . . . When a black cat crosses my path it does usually mean he is hungry . . . or in need of a hug with love . . . sparrow

Notes from under the duvet: " I had a restless night and woke Jude up with a fright when I woke myself with a miaow. I didn't feel right and I kept twitching. Also my ears are itchy. Today I have felt better. I rolled in the dog's bed to make me smell nice ate some turkey and liver, cooked and chopped up small by Jude, specially for me. I have had lots of nice cuddles and now I'm snuggled down under my duvet for the afternoon." Love from Blackberry.

Dear Blackberry . . . Of course you will be restless at night if you sleep all day . We are happy you are well today . . . Don't forget to cause at least some trouble as it is important to keep Jude on her toes. Can't let these people become too complacent sending purrs and happy thoughts . . . Phoenix, Libby, Sophie & Fletcher ps. How do we get our people to cook for us?

Dear Phoenix, Libby, Sophie & Fletcher, The slightest indication that I might be unwell seems to work for me! I woke us both up again last night and frightened the living daylights out of Jude, as I was right next to her face when I cried out. Today I felt a bit frisky and played a bit. Now have retired early as I get the feeling the vacuum is coming out. Love, Blackberry

Dear Blackberry, Phoenix, Libby, Sophie and Fletcher, Thank you for your entertaining conversation! It made me laugh this morning! Buali, our cat who has long gone to cat heaven, had another trick to get my attention, when he got hungry in the middle of the night. He would rattle the drawer handles on my night stand. If I tried to ignore him he would jump back up onto the bed and start "combing" my hair! Very effective! Just a suggestion! Love from your friend Edda

what a cute way to type from the perspective of our beloved felines. I enjoyed reading this thread although I am also concerned for Blackberry. its never easy when a pet isnt up to par. I will keep Blackberry lifted with warm and loving thoughts. ~K PS I found this graphic that made me think of all of my friends on here and it has cats so here you go:
