Responding to an invitation - 1/17/2009 11:08 AM ( #1 )
I sent this to staff last week. Thank you for this site. I've been receiving my Word for the Day of over a year now and many of those, probably more than 75%, have become the basis for my weekly reflection, Monday Morning Ministry. I have a small but faithful band of subscribers, 192 as of this week. In every case, I give you all on this site full credit with a link back to gratefulness.org. I have included a link back to my website, specifically to the Monday Morning Ministry page. I don't know if it is possible for you to link to this page. If you could, I would certainly appreciate and perhaps even benefit some from this additional exposure bit in any event, I will continue to be moved by your work coming into my life every day and when I use the Word of the Day, I will continue to give you credit. If you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks again. Peace and Blessings to you all for your work.

I am posting this so other forum readers know I am not taking advantage of this forum, as a way to gain a little more visibility for my newsletter (to be perfectly honest) and as a way to again reiterate how much WORD for the DAY has come to mean to me. Makes me think, smile, and discover new ways I can live gratefully that day.

This is the reply I received from the staff here.Thank you for your letter. The fact that you use our Word for the Day quotes as the basis for your weekly reflection certainly reflects in turn how much you appreciate them!  Thank you for referring to our site for this collection of quotes. You might consider posting something on our Grateful Living Practice forum about your Monday Morning Ministry.

With kind regards, Margaret and the Gratefulness webteam

Thank you James for this . . .
and a warm, warm welcome to the forum.
I am happy that through this web site, you, as well as me, and many others
have 'discovered new ways' to be grateful every day.
Have you seen the short video, "Today is a Good Day" by Br. David?
There is a link to it on the gratefulness homepage . . .
I take the five minutes or so often,
to sit and watch and listen in quiet.
Blessings to you and on the joyful work that you do.
I hope that you will return sometime and share your gratitude
with love . . .
