My next birthday is 67.  How did that happen?

Sandra, your montage was a work of art and from the heart.

Happy Birthday, Sparrow!

I am happy to hear that my aging process has given you all so much to laugh about .
Actually, I can see that I am in good company!
And by the way, it has not been traumatic at all . . .
Thank you Eileen for the "cake" . . .
I am happy to see you back, and that at least today
you are smiling

Dear Sparrow,

Thank you warmly for your kind words of appreciation! They apply to everyone here on the forum!

Dear Gratitude Family,

I am grateful tonight for a nice afternoon spent with two friends. Agnes gave me a book which she found too difficult to read as it in English. I have not looked inside much yet, but I thought I´d share with you what I found on the back of the cover. It´s called "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. Uncommon Thoughts on Common Things." It is by Robert Fulghum.

"These are the things I learned:

Share everything.
Play fair.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don´t take things that aren´t yours.
Say you´re sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. *
Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
Be aware of wonder."

* The other way round in Austria, and probably in most European countries: we eat our cookies cold and prefer drinking milk warm, mostly as cocoa.

Juliana

Dear Jude . . .
I went running to the home page and there was no sparrow to greet me.
I think the picture changes each time you open it . . .
actually, they are all beautiful,
but thank you for sharing this little one with us!
His eye is on all of us little sparrows dear Buba,
that is the beauty of it .
with love to all of God's sparrows . . .
