My friend Lisa's dad is a cancer patient. The other day they said he had 2 large lesions in his brain and one in his lung. they said he only had 4 months tops :'( 

He is very weak. He can not even walk right now. He has battled cancer for awhile now. He had radiation therapy and it seemed he was better for awhile but now they found more lesions on his brain and lung. There is a chance its scar tissue from last time he had cancer and they did radiation. But they need to do more xrays to find out more.

Karen my dads coming home. He has cancer in the fluid around his brain now and his spinal fluid. It has shut down parts of his brain, speech, walking and hand coordination :( I am not doing good

I am so sorry to hear the bad news about David. Is Lisa getting some help caring for her dad? Has hospice been considered? It could bring a lot of help and support for Lisa in addition to making her dad comfortable.

Lisa's dad passed away recently and she is very depressed. I am lifting her in prayers and warm thoughts, hoping that this depression will subside with a little time.
I dont know much more as she is so depressed she is not writing much.

thank you all so much for your caring replies. I am going to light a candle in the group LisaW now. I ask that you please do the same as I am going to send her a link to the candle group. Hopefully she will feel less alone if that is one of the feelings she has. She told me she posted about her dad on her myspace and very few people replied. Then she said they are fake friends. I feel badly for her, but if she needs to be angry that is a safe way to express it.
