Marie, be careful what name you might get!

Sandra gives me names, too, but not one of my own but OTHER people's names!!!
She even sent me once to h--l when she lost the "o" on Hello!
But this is all in good fun!

Edda
Peace and joy!

I am afraid I started something with the Wallace and Gromit question. They are quite alarming!

Not at all....just loveable and very funny. They do look alarming however!!

Re:Hello - 11/5/2009 3:57 AM ( #2523 )
GOOD MORNING EVERY ONE!

On this friendly, sunny autumn morning I did something I´ve never done before - and Edda, being of Austrian descent, will understand just how revolutionary it was:

I made myself a pancake for breakfast! And some for you, too, of course!

You should know that in this country it is absolutely unusual to have cooked breakfast. But having become "international" through this forum, and thinking that it keeps one young to start doing something new ... Hopefully it´ll keep me out of the rockingchair for a long time to go!

Wishing you all as fine a day as it is here, the snow-covered mountains gleaming in the sunshine,
I´m sending Love to all of you,

Juliana

Re:Hello - 11/5/2009 7:11 AM ( #2532 )

that's why Sparrow likes nuts because she is a

I see I am in good company
with all other nutlovers . . .
I never met a nut I did not like.

Yes, you are right Edda.
I remember very well,
when Sandra was giving you other people's names.
I must confess, dear Marie,
that I have done the same thing.
On more than one occasion
Buba has sent me a quick pm to tell me of my mistake,
so I could go back and edit
before Sandra caught me.
It pays to preview before posting!

Your mountains gleaming with snow,
dear Juliana,
sound so beautiful in the distance.
Mine are still bare.
Why can it not snow
where one does not want it?
Why can't it carpet the grass and the mountains,
and decorate the trees,
but leave the sidewalks and streets bare?

A beautiful day to all who come here . . .
Dance your dream

with love . . .

I am not sure Sparrow, when I preview sometimes I lost my message before it was posted, so I post it first then I use EDIT button if want to add or change something!
That can confuse some of you if you are very speedy in answering like our dear Sandra and when she post the answer she found out that my message was edited in the meantime.... Sorry Sandra!

Re:Hello - 11/5/2009 10:02 AM ( #2536 )
Good morning ladies. The coffee is not doing it today so rather than have it on the run I will chat and have my coffee in the cafe.

Sandra thanks for the group hug. You can never have too many hugs!
The ornaments don't take all that long, it forces me to sit, relax and to clear my mind. A good thing, somewhat like meditation I guess. I have decided this year I want to have homemade things on my tree and something to look forward to. Thirty years ago, before my son Seneca was born I made ornaments, and for many, many years I talked of doing it again. This year I made the time and have started early. New good memories to cherish with the old memories. I made a special picture frame one for the oldest, and picture frame ones for others too.

Juliana, pancakes. Yum.  A while back I made some with canned apples and whip cream. It was a dessert.

Edda says be careful what name you get. Well, if I am a young and old bird, and which I don't mind, I have my colorful little bird pets and love them so very much. I would choose to be a cardinal. Love that red vibrant color. I had a cardinal on the bare red maple tree yesterday. When I ran for the camera it was gone!

Buba, what are you doing with all of the nuts that I have seen? I could use a few to decorate a wreath or something. Shoot them over this way please. I will come out and catch them. LOL

Gotta run.

Marie
why I sign my name when it is on the left side here. I dunno.

Have a good day everyone.

Dear Sparrow,

Trying to answer your question: I think it´s for the same reason that we don´t have cars with built-in parking space...

Dear Buba,

I agree with you: never preview! Marvin will make your post disappear in no time! (Or can anyone tell me how to get back to one´s post??? There is no option!)

Dear Marie,

Let me welcome you back, even if a bit late! As you have noticed, some things have changed, quite a few for better (e.g. this café has been created, and it´s open 24 hours!), and Smileys have joined us and become very active; on the other hand, the format was changed and it isn´t possible any longer to do some of the things we used to do. You´ll wonder who Marvin is: a nasty little fellow who´ll make you log in each time anew, makes your pictures vanish as soon as you log off, won´t let you return to your post if you preview...
We tried to make him sweep the café but he refused...

Dear Sandra,

I hope you are enjoying the fireworks!

Juliana
