Dear Heidi . . . Welcome to the Gratefulness forum. I do not know what has brought you here, but I hope that you will return and share what is in your heart. Yes, we have heard about Darcey and I will light a candle for this little child in your group with much love. . . sparrow

Dear Heidi, Welcome to the forum! I'll be glad to light a candle for Darcy! Perhaps you could tell us more about Darcy, if you wish and are able to do so. There is always someone here to listen to you and offer support! Wishing you everything good, Edda

i have never met little DARCY, but she has touched all of victoria, & the rest of australia http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,24984211-2862,00.html i got told about this site before xmas, & lit a candle for my partner, but felt DARCY being only 4 needed candles to keep her safe from the dark, (all 4 yos are scared of the dark)

Dear Heidi, thank you for the information and the link. Now I know that this is the same Darcey about whom Joeharmony started a thread in the Grief and Gratefulness Forum, "A little life lost". Thank you for your compassion and the link to her candle group. The news about this tragedy was shocking to all of us who became aware of it, as you can see from the comments posted in the above mentioned thread. With love, Edda

it has affected many, there are no words to describe the ache we all feel. my heart sank (& my 2 girls) when we heard it on the radio thursday arvo, i am going through my own grief but this is just to hard to comprehend, that a father could do this to his own child. & the thoughts she had as her dad let her go. not much upsets me, but this chokes me up constantly

Heidi, when I first heard about this it left me speechless. I can't even imagine the fright this child must have felt, when her father let go of her. Does anyone know what possessed her father to do such a thing? Edda

Dear Heidi, I do hope we find out why Darcey's father did such a terrible thing. Like you and everyone else, I think about her last moments of terror. Prayers and candles will be said and lit. Love, Jude

Dear Heidi, This little girl touched so many hearts all over the world.I am not sure what drives someone to do such horrfic things. The Father is not well and in time I hope with all of my heart he can be forgiven . It has torn a family apart and their lives with never be the same ever again. I just hope with all of my heart that shock took over Darcy and that she did not suffer the horror of it all. Take care,Sandraxx
