Welcome to the forum Cati!

I, too, am sad to hear about this tragedy.  I will be glad to light a candle for this family and keep them in my prayers.

I hope you will come back here and tell us about yourself, if you wish. You will meet many caring people who share their sadness and their laughter!

With every good wish,
Edda

I´m a woman that lives in Sweden with my husband and our 3 sons and pets, i did live in the small willage Brålanda before i moved to Vänersborg.
I did start the thread because i feel so angry and sad that this could happend, the man that was murded was a loving husband, dad and grandfather and he was murded by his ex son in law.
He was shot twice and his 15 year old son did se this happend and now the whole family and friends are in pieces, how can anybody take somebodys life in that way?
The police did take him the next day and he claims that he don´t remember, he was waiting for him and did shoot him 2 times and that sounds like he did plan it and people did know that his ex was scared for him and this shows what kind of human(animal) he is

Dear Catti,

Thank you for filling us in! This really is a tragic story! I feel especially badly about the grandson having to witness the shooting. And it is so sad, when people don't settle their differences in more constructive ways, and cause pain all around.

I'll keep the family in my prayers,
Much love,
Edda

Dear Catti . . .
I have only just seen your post here
and am deeply saddened by the senseless loss of this man in Sweden.
I too, hope for a time when people are loving and compassionate enough
to settle our differences without violence.
The family is in my thoughts and prayers . . .
Thank you for coming here,
and sharing a bit of yourself.
I do hope you will return . . .
you are not alone.
In the meantime I gladly light a candle for this dear grandfather and his family
with love . . .
sparrow
ps. I cannot find your candle group so I light it in the 'all' group.
everything counts...
