Dear Xanadue,

My prayer's are with you always....
May God shed some light on all that you wonder about in all of this...divine answers for you, I pray.
Remember our past can be brought up and do remember you have come along way since then...
May God lift you up and clear you to be what it is truly necessary for you to do and be.
Prayer's for your mom's healing and your sons safety and protection and strength.
May God rain down blessings and remind you that even now your life is rich and full of blessed peace, love and joy for you everywhere...anytime.

Love you....
Peace, Lover and Joy,
Diane
Grateful to be here!
What a gift and connection builder!

Dearest Xanadue & Family.

thinking of you all today as Little Austin celebrates his 3rd Heavenly birthday...

May your happy memories be of comfort..

God grant you all the strength to get through this terribly difficult day.
Love and comfort hugs ((♥♥))

You’re wondering if I’ll celebrate my birthday (way up here)
I know you’re missing me today I feel your essence near.

God planned a special day for me he told me with a
wink he’d ordered me a special cake (It’s Angel food, I think)

I’m getting lots of hugs from God he’s really good at
that and every time that I walk by he gives my head a pat

Balloons will fill the streets for me
They float up through the clouds
and we have lots of clowns up here that make us laugh out loud

There is a birthday carousel
Jeweled horses ride the wind
With music playing oh so sweet…
The magic never ends

I’ve made so many friends, you see
We laugh and play and sing
We ride our bikes and play jump rope and sleep in Angel’s wings

We’ll have our cake and ice cream and open gifts, surprise!
But we don’t blow out our candles here Instead, they light the skies

Happy Birthday Little Austin

Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight
Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

A beautiful Poem:
I hear the Bells on Christmas Day

I hear the bells on Christmas Day
the carolers sing, the children play
People merrily walk about
The shoppers scurry and merchants shout.

Here am I isolated from it all
My heart is broken, to my knees I fall
The Christmas Joy I once held dear
Was stolen away and replaced by tears

My heart pounds inside me, my anguish like fear
Why oh why can’t my baby be here?
I’d give everything because nothing means more
But my plea goes unanswered as I fall to the floor

Then I hear you whisper Lord, and I know you’re near
There will be Joy and there will be Cheer
You’ll bring us together – t’was always your plan
We’ll again hold each other tightly and there will be no end

So here on your Birthday, my prayer it will be
Remind me my Austin again I will see
And let me share in the Joy your birthday brings
and smile when I hear the children as they laugh and sing~

Little Angels

When God calls little children to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold.
So He picks a rosebud, before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few.
To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing ths is difficult, still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye".
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children, and
Angels are hard to find.

Christmas Makes Me Cry-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=if_PB-KYPNo

I think of loved ones who've passed away
And I pray they're resting in a better place
I think of memories of years gone by
And sometimes Christmas makes me cry

I think of soldiers across the sea
Sometimes I wonder why it's them instead of me
But for my freedom they give their lives
And sometimes Christmas makes me cry

Tears of faithfulness, tears of hope
I cry tears of joy at Christmas because i know
There is peace on earth for every heart to find
And sometimes Christmas makes me cry

I think of family, I think of home
And say a prayer for those who spend time alone
Cause love can reach out into a silent night
And that's why Christmas makes me cyr

Tears of faithfulness, tears of hope
I cry tears of joy at Christmas because i know
There is peace on earth for every heart to find
And sometimes Christmas makes me cry

I think of Mary and the virgin birth
And I'm amazed by how much God thinks we are worth
That He would send His only Son to die
And sometimes Christmas makes me cry

Tears of faithfulness, tears of hope
I cry tears of joy at Christmas because i know
There is peace on earth for every heart to find
And sometimes Christmas makes me cry
Oh sometimes Christmas makes me cry
Christmas makes me cry
Christmas makes me cry

One day, Someday, Until that day--

Dearest Xanadue

I cry tears of joy at Christmas because i know There is peace on earth for every heart to find

This is so true there is peace for all if we allow ourselves to be 'open to it'...

Like Sparrow said 'I pray  that your/our pain be transformed into something beautiful'.

I really hope and pray  this year will bring you peace as no child wants to see their Mummy suffer.. no child.

Re:What Grief has brought - 1/30/2010 12:00 PM
I thought of posting this to share as the message of the little boy is in the purest simplest way, with more and more having to face doctor results, many already go back and forth to the hospital, what a freshness this message brings.
I don't think i will ever forget how the one Doctor for Austin would come in and say what he will do- just so matter of factly, just what he knew from previous cases, just statistically speaking, without even a preface to it: like I know this will be hard to hear, or we are trying to do everything we can... some sort of empathy and compassion, some understanding would change perception. SO  my prayer is if you are having to face a doctor visit, or learn of a surgery that you will remember this little boys words:

The Heart

"Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began,
"I'll open up your heart..."

"You'll find Jesus there," the boy
interrupted.

the surgeon looked up, annoyed "I'll
cut your heart open," he continued,
to see how much damage has been
done..."

"but when you open up my heart, you'll
find Jesus in there," said the boy.

The surgeon looked to the parents, who
Sat quietly. "When I see how much
damage has been done, I'll sew your
heart and chest back up, and I'll plan
what to do next."

"But you'll find Jesus in my heart. The
Bible says He lives there. The
hymns all say He lives there. You'll
find Him in my heart."

The surgeon had had enough. "I'll tell
you what I'll find in your heart.
I'll find damaged muscle, low blood
supply, and weakened vessels.
And I'll find out if I can make you well."

"You'll find Jesus there too. He lives
there."

The surgeon left.

The surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes from the surgery,
"...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle
degeneration.
No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy:
painkillers and bed rest. Prognosis:
here he paused, "death within one year."

He stopped the recorder, but there was
more to be said. "Why?" he asked aloud.
"Why did You do this? You've put
him here; You've put him in this pain; and You've cursed him to an
early death. Why?"

The Lord answered and said, "The boy,
my lamb, was not meant for your
flock for long, for he is a part of My
flock, and will forever be.
Here, in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you
cannot imagine.

His parents will one day join him here,
and they will know peace, and
My flock will continue to grow.."

The surgeon's tears were hot, but his
anger was hotter. "You created that
boy, and You created that heart. He'll
be dead in months. Why?"

The Lord answered, "The boy, My lamb,
shall return to My flock, for He has
done his duty: I did not put My lamb
with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb."
The surgeon wept...

The surgeon sat
beside the boy's bed; the boy's
parents sat across from him.. The boy awoke and whispered, "Did you cut
open
my heart?"

"Yes," said the surgeon.
"What did you find?" asked the boy.

"I found Jesus there," said the
surgeon.

A Poem written by Austin's sister
BALLAD TO AUSTIN

If he had lived he would be here with me.
He had blue eyes that shined like the sea.
He had a bright smile that shined like a star.

If he had lived I would not have cried and cried.
Austin why did you leave me here alone.
Austin I miss your hugs & smiles.

If he had lived I would  not have to look at your coma pictures and cry.
I would always hear you say aaaaeeee and moo.

If he had lived he still would wave hi & bye.
We would always play ring around-a-rosie and we would always sing
Blues Clues to you!

Written by your loving sister

Thank You so so much bm,  that was beautiful, the link worked and i think i have pjs like the girl, although my clock always reads the opposite time of the clock in the scene, more like quarter to three for me when i manage to lye down.
It was a perfect response to my little glow-candle and i appreciate you sending to me.  No matter the distance or the time difference, i keep you in my prayers each day,  May he shower you with Blessings and keep you strong and positive through out the days, one day at a time.

What a sweet and lovely poem,
dear Xanadue . . .
it is so clear to me
that mothers are not the only ones to suffer.

Sometimes
we become so absorbed in our own pain
that we neglect to notice the feelings of others.

I pray always
for healing
