my dear friend RJ has lung cancer

Hello dear friends, sorry I have been away from the forum. The summer kept me very busy indeed.
 
It is with a sad heart that I tell you RJ passed away last week. He was stated to have died from cancer in his obituary. I know he really struggled with the effects of the chemo. I dont know exactly how is last days were, but his family expressed great appreciation the hospice that came in and helped in his passing.

Yes, ShadyWilbury, Lou Ellen is his widow. IT is so nice of you to ask but please do not think you are asking anything out of turn. I forgot to mention she was his wife since I mentioned it somewhere on this thread at some point. But no harm in asking me anything!

RJ's family are pulling together to support each other. He has several kids along with his widow Lou Ellen. They know they have dozens of online friends who care and send their support and love. They also have a large circle of friends and loved ones in their everyday life too.
 
thanks for all the replies and all the caring here. It means alot to me. i know RJ is in a better place now, at least that is what I believe.
