Sorry I have not been posting it has been so hot, humid here I just have not had the energy.  I worked yesterday and go in again tomorrow.  I have tried to sew but the heat has stopped me and was planning on walking the hounds but it is too hot for them also.  I will not be getting Jams back the group refused me and in spite the one girl who does not like me adopted her.  I just pray Jams will have a good life with her.

I am sorry that you could not get Jams back and hope with you that she will be well cared for!
Hot weather does take the energy out of us. I hope you have air conditioning!

I feel really bad about Jams.  These people do not realize what we go through when we lose a spouse or loved one to cancer, watching them die a slow and sometimes an agonizing death nor do them know what we go through trying to get things together to get benefits, etc.  I hope that none of these people on the board go through what I went through especially the person who adopted Jams out of spite.

Love is the only way

The adoption of Jams was done in spite.  The person who was fostering and adopted Jams never has liked me and she is the type it is my way or no way.  Just as long as Jams is well taken care of.  I did have quite a few items to donate but now they will not get them I will give them to another adoption group.  One group even spoke up for me saying that they would help me and had backed me up.  They did not have the decency to respond to her message.

It is doubly painful when something is done out of spite. I am really sorry that you have to experience this hurtful behavior on top of your biggest loss.

It is all political for some of these adoption groups only thinking of themselves and not the the hounds.  I belive that Life is like the hands of a clock and what comes around will go around.  She will discover how wrong she was to do what she did.

Dear Beryl,
 
I too am sorry they could not hear your heart and be understanding to your loss and needs during this time of grief. It is sad that the understanding did not come for you at this time. Just remember always Jams too is your heart and your love is in his/hers too. I too lose much energy when it is hot out and I am so glad our heat wave has ended. It is like we all just move much slower during heat waves as it is a necessity for our bodies to do so I guess. I too hope your other greyhounds bring you much comfort and help lift you as you go through out your day. It is nice to hear from you and know we often think of you and hope for the best in every day for you. Keeping you in my heart and sending love and light in prayers for you. I feel so hurt that they would not give her back to me.  I offered to reimburse them all expenses plus a donation.  They did not have any idea of what I was going through during that time.  They should of came forward and asked me if I needed any help but they didn't.  At least I have a group that is helping me with my other three and have told me that if I ever have any problems to get hold of them.

Hi Beryl!
 
I am sorry you would think a group would have a mission statement and intention and integrity system to also have compassion for the human beings involved with the care of greyhounds. My heart goes out to you today as this is just so sad for you personally and your own dedication to these beautiful animals. Keep taking care of yourself and don't let this change you too much. Keep your compassion going on as well for others and gain understanding that all groups too make mistakes. We are all dealing with imperfection during our lives here. I am sorry you also have to deal with this personality conflict which adds to this mistake happening as well. I am just sorry it had to happen to you at this moment in time. I pray grace will come into this time for you so as not impact on your own healing process right now. Peace, love and Joy, Diane
