Dear Beryl, I'm so sorry to hear about David.  I am sorry I am just now coming on here to post. I had to work this weekend and it's been a crazy weekend for me. I am glad to hear that he is out of I.C.U. so maybe I hope that means David is doing some better. Sorry for not posting I have been on a merry go round here.  He is now in liver failure and yesterday was in bad shape.  This morning he called me and sounded so much better.  His blood count is low and will be giving him platelets and then hope to relieve some of the fluid in his belly tomorrow.  The lasix started to work and had drained some of the fluid from his body so that accounts for him feeling better.

The news is not good, David has been transferred to Hospice Care which is in the hospital and he is still in the same room for now.  If he is transferred to another facility it would not be before Monday.  They drained 4 1/2 litres of fluid from his abdomen yesterday and it is as huge as ever it filled right back up.  The cannot put a drain in due to the cancer in his liver.  I am heartbroken and feel like I am on a roller coaster that does not want to stop.  Please light candles now for a peaceful passing that will be pain free
