Dearest Beryl,as I am posting this the tears are flowing as my heart is so broken for you both. I can't begin to imagine the pain you are feeling at this time. It must be so very hard to see the one that you love in pain and know that you are going to lose him. Please know that we are here for you. I know that that can't compare with you wanting your David to stay with you. I only hope that you know that there are alot of people praying for you both and thinking of you and lighting you candles. I do hope that for you and David's sake that his passing is pain free. Perhaps he can help look after my 3 angel babies and other angels when he gets to Heaven till it's my time. Please tell him that we love him and you so very much.  If we can help any other way, please don't hesitate to let us know. Love Always, Joya

you and your beloved husband were on my mind
I asked Jesus to help you both at this very sad time
 
there on the grass in front of me was a beauiful white feather
I believe this was a sign from Jesus
...an Angel feather I really do.

My heart breaks for you just now.
It is so very hard to come to this place spiritually,
but I think you will find more love and comfort than you can imagine . . .
I honor you and Dave,
for your courage and strength.
I pray that this time might be one of absolute beauty and light,
and that you are able to find peace.
Hospice people are wonderful people,
and I am sure they will help to keep Dave free from pain.

today he had a good day was responsive and remembered who was there last night.  Yesterday he was pretty bad and was very slow in responding.  I saw him twice while I was at work.  Hospice is taking very good care of him and will be in hospice care at the hospital until at least Tuesday.  I will know on Tuesday if he will stay with this hospice group or go into a skilled care nursing home.  They were suprised how well he was today but then that could be the calm before the storm.  I only want him to have a peaceful, pain free crossing

with one of the dogs that you rescue . . .
it is  a comfort to think of the Rainbow Bridge,
and of all of the creatures that you both so lovingly tended.
I am sure that Hospice will do whatever they can
to keep Dave free from pain.

Just back from seeing Dave not doing too good today compared to yesterday,  His beautiful blue eyes are gone just dull blue eyes now, he has a load of cards there and I did not  have my glasses to read them.  As I was going down the hall to get on the elevator to his room I saw the girl that runs the mailroom and she had Carol get his cards for me so I took them up to his room.  Showed him the cards and he had a smile for each one.  I will take my eyes in the next time I see him.  I know he got a couple with hounds on them and I got a big grin for them.

That is such a precious memory and the nuns comment awfully funny. I bet you laughed at that one.
Just always remember his spirit no matter what you see...OK?  The one you know in your heart. See him in the love iin your eyes and memories. Peace, love and light to you both, Beryl....always.
