Thank you Sparrow.  When our three policemen were killed at their Memorial Service they had pipers from quite a few places and the pipers from New York had the honor of piping them into and to the front of the Church.  It was very emotional for everyone
Then God sent the Greyhound to live among man and remember.
And when the Day comes, God will call the Greyhound to give
Testament, and God will pass judgment on man.

I get very emotional any time I hear the pipes.  I love the music and let the tears flow
Then God sent the Greyhound to live among man and remember.

Testament, and God will pass judgment on man.

Dear Beryl,
Music can be very useful like that, can't it? Tears generated by music can be very cleansing.

I too love the pipes. The Irish pipes can easily bring on tears for me. They hit the spot!!

Love,
Jude

This is what a Lutheran Minister who is a friend told me when we were discussing "All Through The Night"

The tears are a good thing, grief is a process and takes a while.  Be gentle with yourself!
Keep singing, even if it is a lament
Then God sent the Greyhound to live among man and remember.
And when the Day comes, God will call the Greyhound to give
Testament, and God will pass judgment on man.

I like what Pastor Richard sent me and I have a few ministers that e-mail me every so often.  Rev. Heather who called David a shepherd at his Celebration of Life, Rev. Howard who is a retired Methodist Minister and of course Pastor Richard.  Rev. Carole Seaman keeps in touch also.  It is so nice to read an e-mail from them.

Beryl, I'm pleased that you have people supporting you just now.
I agree it's good to have email connection with people. It's an instant connection with someone and makes us feel less alone.
It's also confirmation that there are a lot of good people in the world.
They obviously thought well of David.

Blessings,
Jude

People at the church where he worked really miss him especially the members.  They all remember that he went out of his way for them.  He just had a way with everyone he knew.
Then God sent the Greyhound to live among man and remember.

Testament, and God will pass judgment on man.

I do have loving caring people they might not be beside me but are with me in spirit and that means all of you also.

Went over my daughters so that my grandsons could go swimming in their above ground pool.  I went in for a while but sat mostly on the deck.  Just got home so I have to shower to get the chlorine of my body out of my hair.  I enjoyed my time with my grandsons.  If all goes well tomorrow - I have to work and we do not get the thunder storms will do it again.  We are supposed to go up to 86 F.
Then God sent the Greyhound to live among man and remember.
And when the Day comes, God will call the Greyhound to give
Testament, and God will pass judgment on man.

Dear Beryl,
I'm glad you are enjoying time with your Grandchildren, and that you are still going in to work.
I'm sure contact with people makes all the difference.

Yes, we are all with you in spirit dear Beryl.

Jude

Someone told me I need to get out and meet people not to spend time on the message boards.  I wonder if they have lost a spouse or a loved one to cancer.  They do not realize what messages of tlc can do for a person who is grieving.

Will go over and  spend more time at the pool with the grandsons weather permitting

Dear Beryl,

Yes is indeed a blessed company of ladies and some gents on certain threads here. Though it is good for you to also get out in the fresh air amongst your family and friends and nature of course too. Do you walk your precious greyhounds every day or just have fun having them frolic in your yard? Have you ever looked at any of the other threads there are on here. (like I am grateful and I am grateful for beauty and hello is really fun, there are many to choose from to lift you up each day) Especially for in the evenings or just quiet times when you just feel like doing something different. I think connecting to others here is one of my blessings each day. In the olden times often people were so far away from each other that the written words and friendships grew from just these responses. I believe it is a great gift we receive from connecting on the net to others all over the world. I am one that appreciates the friends I have made here and on the net in other ways. I have met many beautiful people and even exchanged phone numbers with them which is a added delight and blessing of friendship. It often makes my day when I receive a correspondance from one of them. They bring me joy and laughter! What a gift!

Peace, love and joy,
Diane
Grateful to be here!
What a gift and connection builder!
Love and Gratitude,
Love who You Are
