He is having another round of chemotherapy today so that means he will be at the hospital for at least another 6 to 7 hours. He will be getting one to run for 1/2 hour, then three more to run for about 3 hours and then will be getting the 46 hour one connected. This will happen after a blood test and doctor visit. He has not had any adverse reactions so praying that he still will not have any. He has only had the hair loss so far
Then God sent the Greyhound to live among man and remember. And when the Day comes, God will call the Greyhound to give Testament, and God will pass judgment on man. (Persian Proverb)

Dear Beryl, this is a great idea to be "prepared"! I, too, love to have ready-cooked dishes in the freezer! My annual cookie baking marathon after Thanksgiving keeps me supplied with cookies (in the freezer) for the year which is helpful when guests come on short notice. - I hope David retains his appetite and you have to open the freezer often! Much love, Edda

It is good to get stuff in the freezer ahead of the hot weather when you do not feel like cooking also. Our baking marathan starts after Thanksgiving for Christmas. My kids, one of my bosses and friends love the home baked cookies. Dave gets involved plus with our crafts also. We will be doing craft shows on the 21st and 28th of this month. I told him years ago if you want to do craft shows then you help make the crafts

Got home about 4 pm when I was getting ready to feed the hounds so I lucked out and he helped me with the feeding. We feed our Hooligans 2 x day at 8 am and 4 pm or there about.

Dear Beryl . . . Thank you for the update on David . . . he sounds like a remarkable man, with mental and spiritual stamina that is worth so much in fortifying recovery. My prayers remain with both you and your husband, as the process is draining for both of you. I hope that his recovery continues upward with much love . . . sparrow

Everything is find today, I worked my 3 1/2 hours and will go back on Thursday for another 3 1/2 hours. Will be having some minor surgery on Friday nothing to be worried about except my doctor is concerned as I have a history of basil cell and he wants to be sure that there is nothing to worry about. Dave is still doing okay and not problems with the chemo he will get his 46 hour one off tomorrow when Sharon his nurse comes around 4 pm.

Thank you so much. I wish I had know about this board when my son was fighting his cancer. He lost his battle Christmas Eve morning of 2007 and I was sent My First Christmas in Heaven on another message board. If no one has seen it or wants to read it let me know and I will post it..
