oh Beryl, I just read your post. I surely will say prayers for your husband.  Holding you both in my thoughts.  I would be glad to light a candle for your husband.  I am glad that he is responding well to the chemo. I am glad that he is not experiencing side effects.  Blessings and love, liliwings

Thank you Angela we would like to add one more to your information and that is to keep busy.  We do and have done all that you suggest.  We have numerous message boards, people and different churches saying prayers for David along with this one.  We take time out to do different things and yesterday was a craft show.  David likes to meet people and of course talk to people that he knows from either other shows or just people in general..For example yesterday we saw people from previous shows and a few people who are involved with our Greyhound group.  Some of them even remarked how well he is looking compared to the last time they saw him.

positive news every time he goes to the doctor especially with the liver functions down from 243 from the beginning of the year to 72 at the last visit

I also check with the doctors and a  vet about his liver profile and they all say it is good now I have to find out what a normal profile is.  Dave will have to ask his oncologist on Monday

I am glad David's liver function tests are imrpoving, and also that he is tolerating his chemotherapy quite well. I admire your positive attitude which helps a great deal.

Thank you Diane - we did a craft show yesterday and I know he enjoyed himself and he got to see some people that we knew from other shows.  he has to be at Chemo 9:30 tomorrow and probably will not get home  I am thankful for friends who care and light candles for David I just light one for a smooth chemo session tomorrow

I will be thinking of and praying for David tomorrow that his chemotherapy will go well without ill side-effects. Perhaps the memory of the art show he enjoyed will help him!

Dave did not get his chemotherapy today.  His white cells were too low but he is re-scheduled for next Monday.  Now we have to pray that we can get them built up for his chemo.  The doctor did cut his Lasix to 3 pills a week of 20 mg.  This is a big improvement from 50 mg/day
