With all of the replies I have been seeing, I am amazed that no one posted this simple truth . . . That it takes more muscles to frown than to smile . . . http://www.snopes.com/science/smile.asp I am sorry to hear of your fall, dear Juliana, but am happy to hear that you are smiling again. And no Edda, it wasn't me who mentioned Botox . . . I am of the club that Isabella belongs to-- that I don´t care of any wrinklesnear my eyes because each one means to me, that I had something to smile.... with love . . . sparrow ♥ ps. parting thought . . . "Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been." ~Mark Twain, Following the Equator

None of us are exempt dear Edda . . . I have done it too! ps. We have received your violent rainstorms this afternoon, had torrential downpours, dark skies, heavy winds with loud thunder and bright lightning, much flooding, and lost power for awhile. More later including some pictures I snapped . . . thank you so much for your thoughtfulness in sharing the joy . . .

I read this in an email today and it did make me smile. I added the (he/him part to it. Originally it was sent from woman to woman. But men are of great importance as well and deserve this message also. hi I just got this as an email. I was so grateful for receiveing the picture and words Dear God: The lady (and man) reading this is beautiful, classy, strong and I love her (and him). Help her (and him) live her (and his) life to the fullest. Please promote her (or him) and cause her (and him) to excel above her (and his) expectations. Help her (and him) shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect her (and him) at all times, lift her (and him) up when she (and he) needs you the most, and let her (and him) know when she (and he) walks with you, she (and he) will always be safe. Love you !

I smiled today because the little one I care for said to me.. 'Sandra why don't you be a Nanny in Heaven because God would love you and so would his kids'. I said ' Bless you but once you go to Heaven you can't come back'. he said 'That's ok Sandra I will come and visit you on Mondays' Bless him so much he really has been 'gifted' to me in many precious ways..

oh Juliana, I am so sorry you fell. Glad you are all better now. Edda, it was I who suggested botox for the yoga instructor who was afraid to smile after 8pm. just a little bit so she can smile after 8. I would never get near the stuff. Cant imagine poisoning oneself to look better. And really I dont like the idea of cosmetic stuff to stop the natural aging process. Sandra................. that is one huge awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I loveeeeeeee Shar Pei dogs. Their wrinkles are a homage to how beautiful wrinkles really can be !!! oh my heart is so happy with this picture. thank you !!! Isabella I don´t care of any wrinklesnear my eyes because each one means to me, that I had something to smile.... love.is. oh yes indeed. smile wrinkles are very beautiful, indeed Barbara my sister in law opted for botox injections whaich ruptured a small capillary after seeing her I have no desire to age any other way than naturally besides Im afraid of needles Thats just the kind of reason i would never do cosmetic procedures. Even if someone offered them for free. my eldest grandaughter bean calling me her "saggy baggy granny" The last time I saw one of my brothers. I put my fingers on the sides of my face and pulled up the skin and said "hi remember me?" And he surely did !! Sandra ps I have changed ' God ' to Gentle Jesus but that's ok I feel. its always okay to change "God to Jesus" well in name only, of course !! he said 'That's ok Sandra I will come and visit you on Mondays' way cute Sandra !!! Okay, well have a wonderful day everyone. or night as the case may be when reading this. love, liliwings with some lines and droops

Sandra I smiled today because I heard of a dog that was called after one of our dear friends Okay Sandra, are you going to keep me guessing? whats the dog's name? Edda? Betty? Isabella? Jude? Sparrow? Buba????? God forbid the dogs name is liliwings I will be curious to know. As for the concept of what a forum is, i was talking with my mother the other night. She was talking about a friend of hers who moved back to Washington DC manyyyyy decades ago when her husband became the legal advisor for a then vice president. Very smart man. People thought the wife, my mothers friend, was veryyyyyy dippy. And by all appearences she was. But she went to an excellent college in the early 40s. And my mother told me that people say she was actually brilliant. I said "Brilliant, not just smart??" Mother said, apparantly she was brilliant from what I hear. So my dear, you possibly have great brilliance. see? you just always knew only one forum existed on a website. no biggie sweetie you are smart. and remember dippyness can also be brilliance< just ask the people who knew that woman.

Dear Liliwings, Let me solve the puzzle for you, since I want you to be able to sleep tonight, something, I hope, Sandra is doing! Last evening I checked on candles with my name to see not only the ones I had lit but also to find any candles with which I had been gifted. There was one from Germany. When I clicked on it, I discovered that the candle was not for me but for a canine namesake! . I really had to smile since I never before encountered a dog with my name! I told Sandra about it since I knew it would make her smile! Good night! Love, Edda

Liliwings, Let me translate what it said, "In memory of Edda, a dear Labrador-Dalmatian." Many of us have lit candles for ailing and departed cats and dogs, but I never associated my name with a beloved companion. Love, Edda
