I smiled today when I heard my neighbour talking to his newly adopted little boy.
 
"Dad, I can't do this...can you do it for me?"

This reminds me of when Chloe first came to live here and I was persuading her that carrots were a good thing to eat because they helped you see in the dark. (She was afraid of the dark at the time) Then, every time we had carrots after this, she reminded me of their merits!

I smiled today when I read an email from a woman I companion and she referred to what is going on in her life as "an update on the Divine's kind of spooky shenanigans in my life."  I had never quite thought of it as the spooky shenanigans of the Divine.

I smiled today because I had a ladybug morning. In a charity shop I found some stick-up notice board pins with ladybug heads on them. Then at my local supermarket I noticed that all the re-use shopping bags there had lots of ladybug pictures all over them. I didn't have my camera, but thought I might have looked a bit suspicious taking pictures of shop goods.
