Prayers for my husband Leon

This time I am the one asking for prayers. My nearly 92 year old husband fell on Easter Sunday and broke a bone in his hip. Please, pray for him. I am starting a candle group for him under LEON.
Thank you.
If I am not writing as many notes or lighting as many candles as usual, you know why!

Edda: I'm so sorry to hear about Leon's fall. I will surely light a candle for him. On my way out, I came by to see if someone might need some prayers and I found your note.
I came here to honor Jesus Christ for Holy Week, but I'll gladly stay longer.
I pray Leon heals.

Marie, thank you for your prayers! Leon is now in traction and then has to heal before his hip can be replaced. It sounds like this wil be a protracted process requiring much patience. We appreciate all the candles and prayers to send good energy his way and speed his healing.

Oh Edda - I am so sorry - Easter must have been the worst of days - I fell and broke my ankle but I am doing okay. I appreciate you more than you can know. My prayers are with you and Leon.

Dear Joanne, thank you for your prayers and candle. It is early in the course of Leon's treatment. We have to take it one day at a time and hope that he does well. Your own plate is full with caring for Ben. We all need to hold on to hope, not always easy in times like that.

Dear Dawn, thank you for your candle. Yes, I try to get Leon to eat his veggies (which he, like other men I know, doesn't always like) and his protein too! Tomorrow I am supposed to find out what is next.

Thank you, Jen! Just to give an update, Leon was moved to a Skilled Nursing Unit in the hospital today. He is to receive physical therapy with the hoped for result that he might be able to use a walker without bearing weight on his broken hip. I hope and pray that he may surprise us all and be able to do it.
