Daniel - 3/17/2009 4:59 AM ( #1 )
Hi All
I haven't posted for a while but I do drop by, offer prayers and light candles. Things are not great at them moment for us but hopefully they will pass and resolve with Love.

The reason I am posting is I was in the supermarket yesterday and the lady at the checkout was really distracted and I could feel myself getting really irritated. Sensing my annoynace, she apologized and said she was really worried about her nephew Daniel, aged 19. She said that this young man had not had an easy life and that when she had spoken to him the previous night he had said he felt like ending it all. She was really worried about him and was trying to work out a way to help him.
I apologized for my irritation and hoped and prayed that he would get the help and support that he needed.
Will you join me in praying for Daniel to find the help and support that he needs.

Another lesson for me .

Namaste

Glenys...lovely to see you

It's a lesson for us all I think! I would have felt the same as you, and often do when they are having private conversations or being unhelpful for instance.

Yes, you just never know.

Blessings to you. I hope things improve for you.

Much Love, Jude

Good Morning Glenys,

I hope things improve for all at your house and that love heals in your home .

I feel this lady came your way for a reason and I can see by your post that it was for
healing.

It saddens me to read this post and I just pray Daniel is able to look beyond his troubled
mind to see just how special and needed he is on earth.

Life at times can be hard it really can.

God bless you always,Sandraxxxx

What a gift you have been given, Glenys . . .
a shared concern . . .
Jude is right . . .
whenever someone annoys us
we just never know what heavy burden they are carrying . . .
which reminds me of a saying that goes something like this:
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
Philo

I miss seeing your posts,
and hope that you won't be a stranger.
I will also keep your family in my thoughts and prays
that your home can be healed of its pain
with love . . .

Yes yes I agree with everything the posters above me have mentioned (isnt it amazing how great minds think alike?).

I wanted to add that I have been in that dark dark place of wanting it all to end, and that there is hope and light at the end of that tunnel. If Daniel can not feel it or see it, I feel very worried for him too. I will pray that he finds something to hold onto. I also pray that he gets professional help and even perhaps antidepressant medication and therapy. It can really help someone come back from the edge of that cliff. It did me. Depression is a very painful and dark place to be. But it can lessen or even go away over some time with help or even on its own. I will pray specifically for Daniel to be able to take it one day at a time and not give up, DONT EVER GIVE UP!

Lil Sparrow quoted something that I use as my signature now. it is so true~ I try really hard when someone annoys or upsets me to put myself in their shoes. If i dont know their situation I tell myself, perhaps something is really troubling that person that no one else knows about. it really makes me take a step back and be forgiving and patient.

Glenys- I appreciate your taking the time to tell us of Daniel. I will pray for him right now, as well as all people who are in the same mental situation. When they can not find the hope, that is when it is really dangerous and so so sad.

Here is Hoping~!
