D is in the hospital again. She decided to try chemo and since she was in for a colon problem she got her treatment while inpatient. She is supposed to be coming home again soon.  Please continue to pray for her and perhaps light a candle for her. She has lung cancer for those of you who do not know it already.

Hello friends.... I have been too busy to spend much time on the net lately. I appreciate all the candles, prayers and good wishes for D. She certainly can use them!
 
She was in the hospital a few days yet again until today. She was having terrible stomach pains.
 
Hopefully you are right that she will get better and beat the cancer with the chemo's help.

Hello dear friends,
 
D is getting her chemo on a regular basis and now her hair is falling out. She is by no means a vain person but it is still bothering her. I see how poorly she feels both physically and I presume mentally worn out. I pray for her that the cancer is beaten and that she can get quality of life back. Please pray for her, specifically that she doesnt get this flu that is going around. (there was a case of swine flu in her grandsons school). we are all staying away physically for a few weeks.

D is in the hospital again (she has cancer and strong side effects from the chemo). She is so weak now she needs help to do almost everything. Please pray for her and for me as I am her primary care giver besides the nursing staff, until her daughter comes back from vacation at least. She wants me there as much as possible and I am trying to accomodate her as much as I can. Please pray her strength comes back. they are moving her to rehab to work on regaining her strength. Same hospital, different floor. thanks if you can send up some prayers for D. she is very good to me and treats me well so its with great satisfaction that I help take care of her......

Hi. Sorry I took so long to give you all an update on D. She is having a new kind of chemo in the last month or so and is less tired and has more appetite, even having certain food cravings! Yay! she lost alot of weight on the other chemo which really knocked her down badly. She seems in better spirits, even deciding to adopt a kitten soon. The kitten is adorable and I hope it will give her many hours of companionship and pleasure.
 
Her cancer did respond, regarding shrinking, to the other chemo. Hopefully this new round of chemo will beat it down even further. She is off oxygen (yay!) and has stayed out of the hospital since starting the newer type.
